Breaking Bad

I can't wait to see where this goes!

So the teaser at the beginning takes place exactly two years to the day from the pilot episode... On the commentaries of season 4, Vince Gilligan states that at that point it has only been about 8 months since the start of the series. So the flash ahead is a good ways away. I thought it was obvious that they had used Saul's guy to "disappear" - hence the name change and look. But why is he coming back to ABQ??? and what does he need a M60 for??? So many questions! I cant wait to find out the answers!

Great opener! He's also coughing and taking pills again in the flash-forward, so will it be cancer that kills walt, or whoever he's going after with the m60?

Maybe it's for home protection, seriously who can be after him now? I don't think Mike likes Walt much.

maybe Hank has finally learned about walt… maybe the hard disk wasn't wiped properly after all… who knows so many questions!

Another great episode - I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. This is season is just as tense as where the last left off.

I really liked the last episode, Mike is one of my favourite characters. It was great to see Chow again as well.

I have felt a little underwhelmed so far. I feel that the whole "cleaning up" after last season has left little room for any real development. I can see that things are being set up for a pretty spectacular finale but so far it hasn't been very well motivated in my opinion.

Still enjoy watching it though and I expect it will build up.

That seems to be the formula of the show, slow building up for a huge payoff. By the sounds of it, the midseason finale is going to be really good.

I'm very impressed that AMC actually got german actors to play. They got everything as right as it can be, including the police uniforms as well as the rank. Very well done! Now, this thing is definately bigger than it seemed to be. Is Madrigal Elektromotoren a cover up company? Is Mr. Schuler the the top dog or one of the big fishes?

I'm loving this season so far, can't wait until next week. It'll be cool to see how Walt builds his own meth empire now, especially since Mike is on board.

I also love the completely realistic build-up in this show. It's an earmark of quality story-telling. Thanks YenChih Lin for verifying the accuracy of the depiction of the German corporate involvement. I’m not surprised, considering the quality of this show.

It looks like the scope of this business has already reached much farther than we originally had thought at the beginning of this series; now there are not just ties in the Americas, but in Europe also. Wow! It just keeps getting more and more intriguing!

Which is not far from the truth PotionMistress… south germany near the czech border and bavaria has been swept recently with Crystal over couple of years. Maybe completely coincidence or very good research…

Mike has definitely been the character of interest this season so far. I have a suspicion about a plot point regarding Hank - I'll use a spoiler tag in the very off chance that I'm actually right:

Hank said he looked at the laptop before anyone else had the chance to but there was nothing to find. Then when he boss is talking about Gus being right under his nose the whole time, Hank has a look on his face like he knows exactly what he's talking about. Hank and Walt have also not yet been together this season. Could it be that Hank DID see something on the laptop (Walt???), but is - for whatever reason - not saying anything yet? Maybe he's torn on what he should do and is just waiting for someone else to find something so it's out of his hands... far fetched, I know... but ya never know...
