"Some Guy" modeled the high poly versions of the suits for the android/iOS mobile game. Many industry professionals are on CGhub. Yes you're correct in that its not 100% accurate to what was seen on screen/SDCC/CGI but its a rather minor difference in the grand scheme of things. With Neuer22 nearly complete with his model, and most of the pieces for the suit currently in print prep or printing stage its a little late to make such minor changes with all the time that would be required to modify. Seb remodeling those parts, me prepping them for printing, and Biggeek reprinting and finishing would be a nightmare. Plus i like it how it is But thank you for the attention to detail and your passion for this project! :thumbsup Its been very rewarding seeing this model come to life

And unfortunately the helmet is the only part of this incredible suit model i can take credit for, though i wish i could say the rest was also mine Great job Seb!

yeah well that guy based his suit on the blueprints on the statue made by beast kingdom toy and that statue is a little bit different from the sdcc statue, the cgi and the suit used in the making of.. i never said that guy wasn't a good modeller ...he's one of the best i've ever seen especially his heartbreaker model but it has some inaccuracies !

A 3d modeler contracted by Marvel to create suits for the official Android/iOS game wouldn't have based his model off of work done by a toy company. Those blueprints were done by artists at Marvel which are then supplied (plus other promotional artwork) to toy companies for licensing/packaging/merchandizing work and other various purposes to promote the movie. I have the original art (same as what was supplied to toy companies) at ridiculous resolution which is largely what Sebastian's suit is based off of. Beast Kingdom added their base/stand to the artwork and it must have been leaked some how. But its still the Pre-Production art which is why it differs a little bit from the real suit you mentioned at SDCC. There are almost always tweaks and enhancement done from concept art to practical effects and suits. You're right though, he's a great modeler and i hope to one day be somewhere close to his skill level.

Back on track though, the thighs are awesome! Are you rendering your model in C4D or a 3rd party render program? I'm not all that familiar with C4D so i don't know what its render package is capable of. Either way, each update blows my mind! Almost there!!! Just the boots left

Yeah those are rendered in c4d but I created a specific 7 layer filter to increase contrast and the visibility of highlights and so on...
I'm still working on it but thanks for your kind words -almost there- juppy!!!

Hey man, I'm glad you like it! There are no pep files yet, sorry. 3D printing the full suit has priority for now but I will release the pepakura files for free after that. Just a little more waiting, but I think it's worth it

No worries bro. Would be an honour to unfold such an amazing model. I must admit I started to work out how in my head as you completed each part. There are some bits on the side of the chest that look a little tricky though but I am just going on renders. The real thing might not be as hard as it looks
