I'm starting to wonder how would it be to make this suit from plastic sheets by heating and bending, altho i've never done anything like that i can imagine it would be nice as one would not have to mess around with polyester resin and everything that goes with it.

Why not, I remember someone here in the Forum did exactly that and it looked mind blowing clean! But if you rush it, it could look like Antony Lee's builds :behave

There are no parts I'm not working on
There are details here and there that need to be improved...
also like I said, we are going to print this suit
The fact that I will release the pep files for free is depending on the success of the printing project
I can't count the hours anymore that I worked on it. I hope you can understand that...

Soon as Neuer22 and I are happy with the parts and can print them they will get done then we will see how they go together in real life

Neuer, I'm going to the uk tomorrow and I'm going to get the artbook, if there is anything usefull in there I'll share it with ya so you can get it done
(or I could copy the pages and drop m off seeing I only live 20 minutes from Aachen haha XD)

Hey Guys,
I just decided to share my progress on my Iron Man 3D mark 8 Project with you

As you can see in my other thread (Neuer22 - Iron Man Mark 8 / 47 / 42 / VIII Project W.I.P. ), I bougth a helmet from biggeek1972 and now I would love to build the whole suit!

So I started to model the armor to make things faster (pepakura)
I know there are other projects on this suit here but unfortunately they kind of stopped...

I'm building this Suit for Cardboard (Pep) and would like to ask someone when time has come to convert it into Foam too. There is no ETA... just lean back and hopefully relax the W.I.P. opcorn

I don't want money for the pep but the 3D file will stay under my table :lol

I just want to say one thing... You guys (Darkside, dlowrider, Neuer, and many more) are the reason I'm trying to get my hands on Solidworks and do some 3D modeling. And after watching Iron man, I really have motivation to try to do a full Iron man suit...
