Blade Runner "Inspired" Blaster (Scratch Built): PKD-13

I have been really busy with client work (no complaints) and not had any time for my own projects. I decided to try and find a couple of hours each week to work on my own items. Here is some recent work on my blaster:

I was able to rough out the aluminum butt at the bottom of the grips.

Drilling out pilot holes in the base for the bolts.

A lot of filing and cutting.

This is agonizing to look at. Please buy yourself a power sander or at least a rotary tool. It will add years to your productive life!

Other than that... It is a reminder of the days when no one really knew what the blaster looked like.

Ha ha - only seeing this a year later! I actually own both but still like the feel of a file in my hands. Guess it goes back to my days when I was a Silversmith.
