Blade Runner All Metal Blasters

Well it's been a while since I posted something I actually finished But I got on a Blade Runner kick a few months ago and wanted an all metal Sidkit. Unfortunately they sold out a while ago. After searching for a month I had 2. One from a trade and one that popped up on Ebay. The one in the case is a Worldcon version and the other I had to leave Stainless Silver. The pewter polishes up like fine silver. I made the stand out of an old computer LCD monitor stand.

What did you use to get gunmetal finish on the World Con version?

And did you leave the other with stainless steel look simply for something different? Your post says you "had" to leave it that way -- why did you "have" to?

Nice but if they are Sidkits then they are made by ripping off one of my work and model.

So they are recast and Sid is a recaster.

And yes he has admitted it.

I say 'had to' because after I finished polishing the upper it looked great. So one is 'as issued' and the other is 'used'. As far as the finish on the Worldcon........ a lot of airbrushing and dry brushing with a bunch of different shades of brown and yellow.
