Saw this on another Blade Runner blaster thread. Does anyone know why this happens and how to avoid it?
I am now scared to get gloss spray paint anywhere near my grips for my PKD (which are also made of resin). I don’t know whether I should leave them on and just use a different brand of paint or take them off and spray on the gloss clear separately. What should I do?

Finished up the weathering last night. I’ve decided that I’m not going to clear coat it because it will take away that rusted, hero prop finish I’m going for. I finished the mag this morning. Repainted it a matte black and put some reflective tape on the inside to make the light bounce around more, worked out well. Today I went thrifting and found that gold Kreisler lighter, looks great on display with the rest of the stuff. It really fits in with the aesthetic of Blade Runner. I also started making the interior of the case (The cards for my wallet should be here within the next few weeks).
Oh, and I’m also gonna watch both films again tonight

Holy crap, today at my local antique shop I found the shot glasses!!! 4 for $10, what a steal!! They look amazing with my display!

Replica cigarette tins being sold on Amazon! They are made of real metal and the customer photos make them seem pretty legit. I placed my order, only 2 left for those who are interested!

I’ll let you know, should be in Wednesday. Obviously some weathering is going to have to be done but other than that it looks good. I’ll take some photos and let you know of the overall quality when it arrives.

I bought one of those a couple of years back and , whilst not 100% accurate, I was most happy with it given the price.

I couldn't find one in the UK, so I made my own a little while ago from a plain tobacco tin I got from eBay not quite the right proportions but roughly the same size). Some printed labels and a bit of paint later I ended up with this. I admit may have been a bit overenthusiastic with the weathering!
