Interested pending price for sure.
Mostly because it sounds like you will be trying to get it close to the movie version.
I have seen a few that dont have the right overlap of the collar and a few other things.
Do you think you will give it a go with the same type of concealed magnetic closure?
Or is a zipper/button closure more realistic?

Definitely interested. Not sure what Magnoli Clothiers' options are, but would you consider offering a version in waxed cotton, but without the fake fur?

I can ask about it. The fur is only on a strip that goes up the side flaps and the collar, and only has far down as the waist. Most of the coat will have a different lining to it. I hope to have pictures in the next day or two.

In the thread we have discussed that the final would not be leather, his initial post was way before any concrete information was released and deduced that it would be a waxed fabric

Some prototype photos!
Obviously the fur is the wrong color. There's also an extra pocket that will be removed (left chest pocket shouldn't be there). The inner lapel will also change shape a bit to make it smaller.
Better pictures will come after I have this in hand and can take some photos myself.

A couple more pictures of the first sample (a second one is under way to correct the errors in the first one). This shows someone wearing it with the collar up, and a slight correction to the sleeve to make it more slender, and fix some errors with the seam placement.
