In one shot of the back of the coat, the lettering is very lightly visible.
It's light enough that I still wonder if it shows up more in some scenes. Don't tell me if that's true or not, I haven't seen the movie and I don't want to know ANY plot details!
Anyway, got some pictures of the new sample! Here's one, more to come soon!

The costume designer said it's a very dark gray with a slight forest green tint to it. But thanks to Rodger Deakins it'll look like a different color in every shot XD

I can definitely see the greenish tint in those shots from the premiere; the faux fur also looks a little more olive-tinged than I previously thought (but it's hard to tell given the lighting).

More shots:
There are magnets in these spots, I think the production coats will have three or four smaller ones instead.
As for the sleeve length, it seems to reach Ryan Gosling's knuckles. I'll see how it fits when it arrives.

I should get the sample in 3-4 days, and hope to start taking orders after I take a few better-lit photos of it. It will likely be around $300 + shipping.

Inner pockets would be a great add. I hate finding a great looking jacket and opening up and finding no inner pockets.

Just saw the movie and am interested in this jacket, but my only comment is that the "flap" on the lefthand shoulder seems a lot bigger than it was in the film. I know it needs to be able to wrap around the face (over the nose) when standing up, but it just didn't appear to be as noticeably big in the film.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but in several of the screencaps we've seen so far, it looks like the collar flap that wraps around the face actually tucks under the rest of the lapel on that side--indicating, perhaps, that the collar flows into the flap in a smooth arc or semi-circle--whereas in the sample here, it seems to be a straight rectangle coming off of the collar, and it runs "parallel" to the notch in the lapel (for lack of a better term).
Thoughts? For the folks who have seen the movie already, am I way off?

The collar/flap in the movie is pretty much the same size, it just fold down differently than in the photos I've shown so far. If you look at the movie collar pictures, you can see that there's a big ol' crease in the collar.

Custom sized, shoulders, arms, chest, and total length. Maybe other measurements too if my guys thinks it's needed for a good fit.
