I picked up my Vader off Amazon.ca (Canada) for $56 bucks, which felt fair given the irritations I've got with the sculpt. The one I REEEEEEALY am still kicking myself to this day over is the Star Lord helmet that went, if I recall, even lower to something like $49 on Amazon

If the pattern holds, the first year of release is the charm - watch it as we get closer to Christmas, that's when the Vader and TK seemed to hit their lowest points. After that, they went back up, and yeah, are definitely more expensive than they should be now. The Star Lord one was a little different - it bottomed out in early October, and I just kept waiting for it to drop...just...a..little more, because it was for one of my son's Halloween costume. Overnight it went back to full price, and has skyrocketed since.

The Vader helmet should be lowering in price again soon as it's being released again by BigBadToyStore and Brian's Toy Store. There's also the Incinerator Trooper helmet from the Mandalorian coming out (it's a repainted Black Series stormtrooper helmet). I've got both pre-ordered.

Heard a local Game Stop had them, but the one I went to didn't. As luck would have it, the Barnes and Noble next door did, so I bought it.

Argos still seems to have the 20% off deal but can't find it in stock anywhere nearby. It's still coming up on Amazon as £100- did they match automatically (in which case they're not doing it anymore), or did you have to notify them or something?
Got mine yesterday.I´m not a X-Wing helmet expert..but this helmet is awesome.Size and shape are top.Looked a lot of screenshots and its really a great prop.The paintjob is also not bad for a massproduction..but I think with some work I can buid a screenaccurate looking helmet with this base.
I also like the "lasershow"in the helmet.Yes its toylike...but nice.

It's one of those creepy internet things, I had just ordered it to pick up at my local Argos, when the next in browser ad I saw was for Amazon at the new price. So a combination of browser cookie targetted adverts and Amazon themselves auto price matching. Hopefully, there might be offers ongoing, I'm sure they shifted a fair few at that price. £100 is ok, but £80 is far more palatable.
