Black series XWing Pilot helmet up for pre-order on Amazon

Got mine today from Amazon and it's actually very comfortable, even with all 3 pads in place (like Bullwinkle, I take a 7 1/2). LOVE the sound and light FX -- and there are lots of them. I'm partial to the ANH sounds, but any kid who's a Star Wars fan will love this thing.

Can't wait for Fett!

Mine turned up Seems legit...
I picked it up convinced it was way undersized and then put it on.
It feels perfect, with padding, any larger and it would look bobblehead and I'm a 6ft and no small head.
Sizes fairly same to my generic fleabay 7 piece TIE helmet that prob isn't that accurate.
The mohawk could be widened if needed as they were all over the place on the screen lids.
Seriously impressed. Repaint now Blue squadron

Looks very close in size to Richie armor kit which is made from a size large helmet base. The Efx may be larger as it may be an xl base.

The weathering is pretty good for something mass produced and not so heavy that you can't add your own additional grime.

Can you comment on solidity and weight compared to the fibreglass and ABS versions?

It's a solid piece. Doesn't feel flimsy and more weight than you might have with an ABS version. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the interior construction too.

For my large head it went on well. The ear pads are each attached at two velcro points. So if you have a big head, it will fit but you might have a problem with the pads shifting as you put it on. This is the main problem for me and the Poe helmet. So big head people might want to consider addition velcro.

Just as an FYI for any Canadians who may have gone through Hasbropulse (as Amazon never had listings for the Luke or the Fett), they are both up now, and work out cheaper than direct through Hasbro.

The Target I work at was still setting up star wars stuff when I left yesterday so I didn't see what we had.
Most of the big set up was for Frozen 2 in several areas of the store.

I'll check tomorrow on what we got in out of several pallets of toys.

The worker told her they sold out of it along with a many other items. I was able to get the standard version which might have been a good thing as I saw reports the carbonized edition had occurrences of flaking off.

Yeah the display had a bunch of missing figures but still had enough black series figures to walk out with a complete set

I was just amazed at how small of a display they got

The Walmart I went to didn’t even have Star Wars stuff elsewhere in the aisle.. just the square mid isle display..

Target still had old figures on the shelf’s and exclusive Tarkin game board figure.. I gotta swing back some time and pick that figure up

Honestly I think Hasbro put all their effort into the Frozen 2 launch since that’s a new license, StarWars was an afterthought.
