Black Series X-Wing helmet @ $83.99 - worth it?

Target is selling Black Series Luke X-wing helmets for $83.99. I really haven’t paid much attention to Black Series helmets in the past, but from what I’ve read, they’re actually pretty good in terms of size and accuracy. While an X-wing helmet really has not been a high priority on the list of helmets to add to my collection, I’m wondering if $84 is a really good deal that I should take advantage of.

Any thoughts?

That's like only $10 less then retail. But it's a VERY good helmet. It's 1:1 scale out side of the mohawk width(only a quarter inch to thin.)

Hasbro really stepped their game up with their Black Series helmets starting with the X-Wing and their upcoming Boba Fett helmet. It’s a steal for under $100.

The Poe helmet is a really good helmet, especially if you want to do a conversion for the Rebel Legion because it’s fairly screen-accurate as-is. At $80? Hmmm I’ve bought a few for around $40 so I’d keep looking personally

Hasbro, the toy company, making relatively cheap but well-made and highly accurate helmet replicas. It feels like "Bizarro-world".

Thanks. Yes, the Luke at Target is what spurred my OP. It’s now back in stock.

That price at Komon is great, but the site seems ... iffy. Have you used them before?

But I did buy a Black Panther and Ant Man ones for $35-$40 last Prime day and they were legit

I don’t think the luke will get as low as the others I think there is a higher demand for these

Plus there are some very talented artists on here doing wicked paint jobs on them

Here is the repaint I did for my Resistance Pilot costume in the Rebel Legion. It’s a great base for a custom helmet. Well worth $40!

If only that was the retail price we're getting. Last one I saw was about £140 -about $177 at present exchange rates

Retail is $99. $177 is price gouging.

Nope, it's retail in the UK. We don't call it 'Rip-off Britain' for nothing. A quick search today show a range from £120 - £150 in standard retailers. That's without hitting ebay.
