I picked one up! Paint details are better than I expected. Sounds are great. I had a little trouble with the voice response, as it isn't super sensitive, but I got it to work. The interactivity is more of a novelty, but that isn't a deal-breaker. All-in-all, it's well constructed, well detailed and surprisingly realistic for a toy replica.

I would love to see a comparison to the real prop or anovos. But I think it's by far the best Star Wars helmet made by a toy company. By FAR.

Why don't they make kid size and adult though? My girlfriend has a lot smaller head than me and she is a bobble head with it on even with all the pads...

Seems like they should have 2 sizes of all the black series helmets...

So get to modding people! That way I can sit back and copy your hard work! LOL, JK.

Seriously though, can't wait to see what people do with these!

Oh, I forgot to mention... TRU gave out posters that were exclusive and they only had 100... it shows the walkers in great detail... pretty cool.

This was the main thing I was looking for at TRU tonight. Even wore my Finn/Poe jacket from Zlurpo's second run. They had four in stock, but it seemed everyone in front of me (about 10) were more interested in the toys rather than the helmet. I was apparently the first to grab one, and then everyone before me along with the store clerks made sure I knew where they were. Very successful Force Friday for me.

I waited till this morning when Target opened at 8am. NO ONE waiting to get in and since they don't participate in the midnight madness, I got everything I looked for. Figures galore. 8 Poe helmets were sitting on the shelf. NEVER will I do the TRU midnight again

I went to Walmart at midnight and they brought one pallet out at a time it took forever. No Poe helmet. After I left
I ran to the target down the street and they had everything out and enough for everyone. I grabbed the Poe helmet
and a Porg for my girlfriend.

I didn't get one because target was swamped with people last night and after waiting over two hours at Walmart they didn't even have any! But all the spheros were gone for sure!

Got a Poe helmet after getting home at 3am. In zombie mode, but now after trying the sound effects, have to remove the ear pads to get this on my head, but it fits my big melon

Anyone thinking how how to mod the built-in microphone for an Aker lol?

I think this can be repainted to anything you can think of, possibly replace the resistor in the back with something with a wire to make it look better, and the comm boom mic on the front.

Sliced onions are 'etched in' so that can be highlighted with some acrylic and wiped off on the parts where you don't want it. Insignia and stripes, aurebesh you would have to get some stickers, or make your own stencils and paint (everything including the highlights/weathering are painted).

All in all I like this as a solid bucket for mods and re-paint.

Anyone have any suggestions for dissasembly of the blast shield, boom mike comms, resistor and visor I am willing to share my repaint!

Curently in Manassas Va and toysrus and target have the helmet in stock. Picked one up and will be taking it back to the UK shortly. ( actually had a bit of a spending spree and picked up the Black series Stormtrooper helmet, 2 gamestop busts - [deathtrooper and flame trooper] and a couple of lego sets.

tempted to go back to gamestop as they have the tie fighter and poe busts on offer.

Wow, I guess the Force is with me today. I've been sick and forgot it was Force Friday so I just got back from going out. I stopped by Toys R Us and they had 2 unopened cases of Black Series Figures. I got General Leia, The Elite Praetorian Guard, and TLJ Poe which I really like because it reminds me of Hans Bespin outfit. After TRU I stopped at my local Target and the figures were all gone but then my wife noticed a Black Series Display by the costumes (Halloween?). I totally glossed over Poe's helmet because it's so well blended into the display but she saw it (her familiarity comes from my dragging her on my quest for the Black Series Stormtrooper Lid). Anyways, I'll open it now. If anyone wants exact measurements I can grab some. Best.

I picked up two Poe Dameron helmets at Target this morning and I think at $79 it's one of the best cost to value props out there. I love it, I have a huge head and it fits, albeit a little snug. Maybe I missed it, but I thought it was supposed to have Bluetooth? Also got the 6" Black Series Luke and Landspeeder despite the fact I don't collect the 6" figure line. It was too iconic not to have.

I picked one up at Target today and they have a deal to get a $10 gift card for Star Wars purchases. This is a really nice helmet. I'm impressed!

Picked one up today myself. It's a bit snug on my oversized melon but for the eighty bucks it's pretty darn cool.

Definitely waiting to see what modifications people do to get this helmet fitting a little easier. It's a pain to put on currently with the supplied lining.
