Your photos actually make it look decent from some angles. The included stand makes it look extra wonky from the front.
Will have to see if the fine people at eFX are able to get more PCR Vaders in the US, as it is out of stock and the prices are skyrocketing. :facepalm
Very nice photos, thank you for sharing. It makes me feel even better about picking this up. I want it to display it (in reveal) like the prior pictures, so for me this looks to fit the bill. I am a die hard SW fans and have been all my life. It has the look of Vader and that is what I want without looking corney like the old Don Post, or even the Rubies ROTS (IMHO). For the Hard Core Vader guys, it might not be SA, and I applaud your commitment to the finer details, but for most (like me), I think it will be a good entry helmet for now.
Listening to some of you guys, I think the consensus is that it is not SA, maybe far from it (not as far as some), however; it may even be a good base to work from later on to make a little better.

Thanks for this great pics.The facemask is not so bad for the price.But what I really hate is the extreme thickness of the lower section.Why the hell they made it like this?Because they had only this thick magnets?So this would be the first thing that I would change.

I am still one of the few against this helmet...if you guys love it that is totally a good thing.
To me this helmet fails to capture the essence of the screen version that brought me into loving the character. It has no beauty of the original sculpt. I hold Vader as my favorite character ever and grew up seeing what they delivered on the screen and this helmet does not give me the same feeling I get when I see a more accurate lid.

I just ordered it through Walmart for $99 - it said they had one in stock and ready to pick up today... so I'll be going to get it shortly!
You are right..its a bad helmet from the high end point.But for 100$ its a nice funproject to mod.
Here is mine after the mod.......:lol...(joke)

I feel this helmet would need a lot more work then the Rubies to even look half way decent. And no I was not comparing it to the high end helmets. Even for this price range its horrible imo. to me its the ugliest licensed Vader helmet ever made. The DP standard look better imo. Like I said they could have 3d scanned an existing helmet and add the reveal aspect to it.
Did you find it on Walmart webpage? I have looked all over and cannot find it listed for sale anywhere in US besides Ebay.
It didn't show up when I searched Walmart.com, but when I googled it, Walmart was one of the shopping results. From there I checked store availability, and only one store anywhere near me had ONE in stock. Something seemed very strange about the whole thing to me - but lo and behold, I went and picked it up!

Just searched walmart.com for "darth vader black series helmet" and chose "Store availability" from the top of the search results and then all of a sudden it was there.
