Black Series Boba Fett Helmet Announced

Just going by the gray and silver spot of weathering above the left turn signal, I'd say the paint isn't as accurate as EFX as the shape of that blotch of paint is wrong, but this helmet gets alot right and for the price, I am very glad I preoedered one and may even get a second.
I wish she'd shown the interior.

i feel like she spent so little time on fett's helmet.
That's how it always goes at Hasbro booths. It's so hard to find any images of their props when they reveal them. If you watch any videos of their booths people will spend a minute on one action figure then "oh by the way there's this life size replica. Moving on!".

Toy collectors are like "$100 is too much!", meanwhile buying how many action figures at $20 each?

yeah.

i do wish that boba fett's helmet would've been one of the main focuses of the video

Some pics from Jedinews. I don't know if this is the production helmet. Previous pictures, and the picture on the box don't show the light red weathering, I still hope it will be more like the original one (but I'm buying one anyway so...)

I got ridiculed once for not collecting action figures. My main focus is props and costumes. That is what i prefer. How is an action figure better then holding a prop or cosplaying as a character? That's the way I see it.

But this helmet looks incredible for the price point.

I have pre ordered this on Amazon and have a gift card waiting to pay for it. It looks really nice for the price. Let’s hope it holds up to the prototype here.......

The pics from Toy Fair are of a production model, right? With the box and everything... I think we're way past prototype pictures at this point, with the helmet coming out in 2 months and all.

Totally agree! I quit toys a long time ago except 1 or 2 characters here and there, and that is very limited. Costumes props and droids for me!

Action figures and plastic weapons are great for when you're a kid. But what's better than "playing" with something that's accurate to what the actors handled on set? Props are the "ultimate" toys. :)
small joke from around the context of the 501st: whats the upgrade when actionfigures get too boring: being the figure itself. (cannot find the exact source. My google-fu fails for some reason)

Hope it's just crappy lighting in the Hasbro booth, but the 'silver' damage looks really very flat, more like a light grey than anything else. Compared to the box photos, the whole thing looks a lot more washed out. A little...not 'concerned' exactly, but it gave me pause because on the other hand, the Red 5 helmet looks pretty much the way I remember mine looking, so not sure if it is just crappy lighting.

The lady rep sounds so generic. "Has the detailing fans come to expect from Star Wars." Then she moves on to the next piece.

Have someone represent the dang properties with more enthusiasm and actually talk about the piece at hand instead of sounding like a cue card reader doing it for money.

Well I guess I'll have to buy that one too. Same thing if they make a Jango.
I could see them doing an ROTJ Boba, maybe even Holiday Special/Droids Boba, but Jango would require new molds. The details are different, the helmet damage is different, and it's ~5% smalller than Boba's.
