It could be, the Black Series helmets are usually disassembled in the box.

The only thing disassembled is the range finder per pics that showed up on Facebook.
It's tough to be certain, but the interior cheek detailing looks like hasbro just installed a set of stormrider's cheek overlays.

It doesn't. It comes assembled with the exception of the range finder being disconnected. The was confirmed in pics posted on facebook.

This guy said he got it from EB Games, which lists the release date as 3/17 on their site 
EB Games is wrong. The American version of the company is GameStop, which I ordered mine through. According to them, release is May the Fourth. Also, if one can just order it now from EB Games, how is he getting away with charging so much? Are they already sold out because they screwed it up and released it almost two months early?

I heard they released earlier than they were supposed to and may be ordered to stop...not sure.
It isn't as accurate as EFX but at $120 it's easy to overlook minor inaccuracies. This is fantastic for the price.
