That's how I justify buying every Legends and Black Series cosplay product. Even if they are technically not perfect and you can sit on them for a year and watch as they easily double in value.

It's funny how some of them get hot and others do down in price. I was able to get a new Stormtrooper for $42. On the other hand, a Kylo BS helmet goes for $180 to over $300 on ebay, which is nuts.

The boba fett helmet is supposed to be super accurate so I can't imagine you would have to do anything at all.
Unless... a fresh coat of paint is your style

Are you familiar with hasbro? They almost enjoy watching their customers or rather "potential customers" writhe in frustration trying to get products before scalperbots wipe out entire online stock. They don't understand supply vs demand equals money. For ****** sake if they would just do pre-orders and if 2 million people order a 100 dollar helmet guess what hasbro? Mission accomplished everybody wins but nah.
They would rather go "oh 2 million fans might want these? Let's make 200 and put them out to target exclusively"

I'm going to be dusting off my HBS Boba thread in a few days, here, to comment on all the things I've learned over the last several months about it compared to the original. It's really good in overall size. Like, really good. The things they got wrong really leave me scratching my head at why they did it this way instead of that way, because the things they got wrong there was no reason to.
Yeah, I preordered mine on Amazon as soon as it was announced...

I was talking about hasbro as a whole with their products not limited to the buckets. I also collect their black series figures and marvel legends (and TRYING to collect the new 6 inch gi joes) its really frustrating.
But yeah hopefully this new deco Fett helmet is widely available. And thats exactly what I mean, will they keep making ESB deco? Doubtful. If you have it, keep it in your tight grasp like smeagol.

This is hilarious. I've had an unpainted cast Fett helmet for about 12 years (it's from the 'Lava' lineage). I was always too intimidated to try the accurate ESB or ROTJ paint-ups so I've been avoiding painting it all this time. Plus, I can never seem to find a list of out-of-the-bottle or can paints to use that are accurate.
I got the Hasbro BS helmet earlier this year and it's great- accurate enough for me and ready to display. After seeing Fett re-paint his helmet on the Mandalorian I dug out my unpainted cast helmet and decided I could probably tackle the new less complicated paint scheme.
It's almost seems easier to just get this new BS version......

I'm assuming it's for The Book of Boba Fett, which doesn't premier until about a month before that date. Unless Hasbro put up a placeholder date, which is also very possible. Either way, I preordered it as well.
