Best ROTS Vader Belt/Belt Boxes?

So I see two on ebay, one from evolution_props, and the other from Portumac. Would any of these work for ROTS? Assuming I can find an accurate metal buckle, I am in need of the belt boxes (preferably with electronics). I like both and really can't tell a difference.

Put another way, if it came down to the belt, would I be able to get into 501 with any of the above options?

Are there any others out there?

Thanks!

I would steer very far away from evolution for sure. I've never seen anything of theirs I liked.

Not only that but there are numerous horror stories of people never getting what they paid for. If it helps the SLD has a Vendor Feedback section, if you haven't already perhaps have a nose in there for something good from someone reliable.

I like what I've seen of it, but I'm far from an expert on its accuracy. It is one I am looking to purchasing down the road though.

Inaccurate both in terms of Rots accuracy. You need to made yourself the correct boxes, while for the leather belt you had to use the german officer WWII belt , with the 2 grooves up and down:

BEWARE: the real WWII is 5,5 cm of height and that's the correct measure for the OT Vader; for the Rots you need a reduced replica that is 4,5cm that you find here:

Hers a pics of my belt with self made boxes and alu buckle ( but the real one is in fiberglass, so your Rubies works ; i prefer real Alu for myself ):

Or if you have time to make some for us. :lol
C'mon guys, it's more easy and funny to try to made yourself :lol Paid attention to the details and the position of the greebles, the dimension of the boxes ( a little , very little, more great of the black buckle...), you can also recycle some parts of the Rubies, like the electronics adding more powerful leds, can use the black quadrants of the green lights ( it's sufficent to replace the green glasses ):)

Ha. Didn't mean to derail your info request J5. I was only kidding.

I have seen these project boxes around, I'm assuming that they are the same size for ROTS but the buttons and LEDs appear in a different configuration (proximity to each other).

In this case, is accurate based on photos? Do we have more precise measurements?

I have no idea about the project boxes, where does one find them? I haven't seen much discussion on the belt (or ep3 vader for that matter)

I just went over to the SithLords forum and found a great project a guy did with a belt. Has the info you need. Now I just need to find the fram filter and the LEDs/knobs.

And a close pic of the mesh, where it appears as irregular diamonds;

Many of us made the boxes in sintra, or teak...assuming the Rubies buckle correct in size (..and it is...) the boxes measures approx cm 9,8 x 7,2; the green squares around cm 1,8. You can find the correct alu knobs on Ebay
