I'll go back to Pedro's model and try to match it on several refs to make sure. I'm not sure if you are saying 20 or 18 in the end with your last sentence

Those casts do look wonderful! I’m envious, such a useful skill, but I never had the patience to get good at it.

Well I think I’m satiated on the CE button front until I can find a real one. I modeled this using measurements from thd9791, and I’m super happy with the resin prints! The back piece fits into the housing to fill the letters, just like the real one. Alas I had no orange handy, so grey primer on the outer button.

I guess it depends on what version you're going for. If you want the cast version then weathering would be easier with the plain resin.

One of these casts was repurposed for the Ewok Battle of Endor movie. It was fitted to a harpoon gun prop, which seemed to really work?

I can even see the gears on the barrel and the F-4E bomb greeblie.
