Beastmaster TV Series: Dar's Staff

Not sure how many of you were fans of the TV series, but for those who've seen it, has anyone ever make a replica of Dar's staff?

I've been wanting to make one for years now. It just a cool prop. Reference pics are hard to find though, and when the show was airing I decided it wasn't worth the tape.

So how about it? Maybe someone even owns an original. When I was working on making my first replica of it out of PVC pipe, I came up with a somewhat accurate layout for the "carvings" on it. I'll try to recreate it in photoshop and get it posted for those interested.

It was a neat prop. The show wasn't really that great. I only watched it for the woman who played the Sorceress. Monica Schnarr I think her name was. She was hot.

Apparently, it's on Sci-Fi Thursday the 27 at 9 & 10 am. It's probably on every week at those times.

Thanks. Yeah, the show was pretty terrible. I've been trying to DVR the show for close ups, but lately its been from the newer seasons where he has ditched the staff for a sword (not sure of the story behind that one).

I caught part of this series. I didn't care for it. I think at one point he didn't ditch the staff, but they did some weird juju where the staff 'turns into' a sword or pair of swords or some garbage when he wants to.

i hope you make it i always wanted one from the begining of the first season when they swapt it for the sword i sucked big TIME......
