Also a nice touch that they are moveable
Got a little bit more done today. Had to make a 4 hour round trip up north to get my car today. Gonna try to finish Galactica before I get myself immersed in the car for months
Very true, I got a small mountain of parts in the basementIts going to be tough not to focus on that car![]()
Not even, folks can’t hover over this all the time. It takes up a lot of my time but there’s no reason it needs to monopolize anyone else. It’s easier to keep build records on the site than to keep a gazillion pics on my phone and my laptop is a bit dodgy.Sometimes my phone does the same thing... Other times there are no issues.
Anyway... Dude... I'm out of it for a little while and look at this! You've gotten so far with this thing. Almost there. I totally appreciate that the hardest part is replicating stuff you've done already.
Maybe call it a filming model for the time being, arguing that it's the reason for not having the other flight pod done?
I'm sorry for not supporting, I'm back now.
Now get back to working on it!
No rush brother... I'm back to studying for my diploma så I really don't have much time for other things than work, study and trying to keep track of my kids life... Oh and there's a wife in there somewhere too, at least last I looked. Not even, folks can’t hover over this all the time. I’ll get to the post office Saturday morning, keep you posted
Yeah I’ve probably spent a couple hundred bucks on evergreen plastic. I bought 500 pieces of the between the ribs stuff on eBay for 80 bucks. Don’t need that many for this but I bought enough to do the Pegasus too. But that one has more armor on it so it won’t need as much. But they’re good to have regardlessNo rush brother... Take your time, I'm still baffled that you even wanna bother with it.
This build is amazing. I can't believe you're doing it all in styrene, the cost must be crazy... oh my.
I can't remember, are you casting all the detailing between the ribs?
For the Pegasus have you considered using plexiglass or mdf? On my Falcon build I've found that 3mm mdf is incredibly easy to sand even by hand.Yeah I’ve probably spent a couple hundred bucks on evergreen plastic.
