Hi All,
Figure -is from NECA and I put him in a pose that I like and then glued then joints and then filled in the joints using AVES Fixit sculpt. The M60 is from the old Marvel Punisher figure and the rounds are from a 1/6 German machine gun, I then painted and weathered Luca and the weapon using Vallejo paints.
Base - The base is two 1/12 Storm trooper bases glued together and the balsa wood was attached around the edges. The base was built up using High Density foam and it was broken apart to simulate a cracked and destroyed road, I used a small sandstones and pushed it into the foam to give it a tar road feel to it.
Once the foam road was dry I then used dirt from the back garden and covered the rest of the base and let that dry. The small shrubs are from Army builder and the taller grass I got from the back yard and dipped it into methylated spirits and let it dry for 24 hrs and then painted it.
The sign I printed off the net and glued them to thin pieces of plastic card and the pole is plastic card tube, I painted and weathered everything using Vallejo and GW paints and pastel chalks.
NOTE - The reason I dipped grass into methylated spirits is that the spirits dries out the grass but doesn't let it crack or go brittle.
