This prop is basically the trophy of the entire TV show because not only does it hold the hope of getting back home (Flight Record) but it also begins and ends the series.
It's also the only futuristic prop that makes more than one appearance throughout the show.
The disk comes pre-painted, so it's ready for display!

The price is $35 per disk, plus $8 for domestic shipping.

If you're outside of the US, just send me your country's name and I can give you a shipping quote.

Nicely replicated!

I rewatched the series recently. The disc was built up to be a major thing and then it was just dropped. :(

If you watch the "mini series" version at the end, Galen (Roddy McDowall) mentions that the astronauts did finally leave the planet of the apes using the disk and that he never saw them again. Unfortunately, the original series did so poorly in the ratings that they never got a chance to film the final episode.

Oh, the TV movies where they stitched together episodes some time later. Gotcha!
I've seen those wraparounds, and Roddy was such a pro. He put his all into what some might have considered throwaway gigs.

He was definitely the consummate actor. I recently saw him in another Sci-Fi TV show, Buck Rogers. He had made a guest appearance as the leader of a small planet.
