Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Yay.... Kevin Smith. I'm so excited. :|
Kevin Smith is just about the only reason I would watch this. Although, I admit there was a point where I grew a bit weary of him, haven't listened to his podcasts in quite some time now (really don't listen to any podcasts anymore), but loved Red State and while Tusk doesn't immediately appeal to me, it does have my interest a bit.

Meh. I think he's an overrated hack. But what I think barely matters to my wife and kids so I wouldn't expect it to hold much weight here. :)

I don't think she would have auditioned for any role for the film if there was a clause in her contract saying she can't work with DC Comics.

Oh don't be so sure - there are clauses in contracts that say exactly that. It goes pretty far down the line - If you do Leno you can't be on Conan or Letterman for a certain amount of time after or if you work for Dreamworks you can't work for Disney until the movies that were in production while you were employed are all out and over. You'd better believe those contracts being made for these new Superhero wars are being handled the same way now. Halle Berry as Storm then as Catwoman damages her worth as a character if one movie does poorly or does incredibly well. It's always been like this for writers because the studio is afraid you'll steal moments or ideas from movies they have in production.

well aslong as there isnt a contract saying she cant go over to DC for wonder woman im pretty sure that if its upto her shes the next WW

well ryan reynolds played deadpool and JL, James Marsden played cyclops and lois' husband in superman returns...

she won't be the first person to play both a DC and Marvel char

Why would they make a superman vs batman in my opinion why put two DC heroes fight each other, I prefer batman and superman teaming up to fight some villain.

To give the movie a name and just a simple title to show everyone that its gonna be about Superman and Batman, the 2 most iconic superheroes. Hell i think the title alone will draw in quite the crowd just because of their combined popularity. And i hardly believe that this will be just about them fighting each other. Their friendship had to start somewhere ;)

Yes, earlier. - but the way things may be heating up - if Warner can get a few things right they will be in competition for your dollar opening weekend - this means the actors will be asked not to play both sides - "You want so and so, well you can only seem them in Avengers" . Course Warner needs to hit the next movie out of the park - the only thing they are riding on right now is Man of Steel, Batman has been erased and crayons are being passed out to come up with a new one.

New Actresses Test for ?Batman vs. Superman??as Wonder Woman? | Gofobo

Is Warner Bros. closer to finding the woman who could play Wonder Woman in the untitled “Batman-Superman” pic?

Sources tell Variety that “Fast and Furious” actress Gal Gadot, “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” thesp Elodie Yung and Olga Kurylenko have or will test for the female lead, which appears to be the role of Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman. Sources stress there’s still a possibility this role could be Bruce Wayne’s love interest, but the casting description of “tall, brunette, athletic and exotic” also matches that of the Wonder Woman character in the comics.

WB had no comment.

Schmoes Know reported earlier in the week that Kurylenko had auditioned, and sources add there is a possibility a fourth actress could be added to the list. Recent reports suggested “Thor” thesp Jaimie Alexander would be up for the part but Alexander’s obligation to future Marvel pics takes her out of the running since it’s a DC comics property.

As I was saying...

I still say this would have been a better team up than Batfleck.

Dude, you don't think I know it's not happening?
It's MY opinion, I can voice it. You don't like it? Don't comment.

But this thread is about a film that is actually happening. You're voicing an opinion about something that is totally off topic from the subject of this thread. Why would you come in here just to derail the conversation about a film that you'd like to see? Why not just start another thread about your fantasy movie?
