Good job! If you don't mind me asking, how did you attach the foam pieces and colour it. I'm thinking of doing this for The Dark Knight Rises, is this easy or possible for someone who has never built a costume before?

I got my Sintra Board from a Junk Shop.. LOL
(From a reliable source) I think you can find one in national bookstore which costs 150php, I think?...
Depends on the size and the thickness.. I haven't tried buying there yet.. Also, My friend sent me this...

Actually Sir that's my second cowl / mask.. If you can notice, Its somehow different from the one on the first post of mine... I decided to make another cause the last one was a FAIL when I put Bondo on it.. *sighs* ... So yeah, thats a new mask and I put some Glasses on the eyes for the Sonar Vision Effect, hehehe

I together with my friend, Joined the 11th Philippine Toy Convention last June 16, 2012 at the SM Megamall Megatrade Halls 1,2,3...

I suited up as the Batman Desert Storm and my friend as the Arkham City Robin...

We joined the Cosplay Competition and performed a mini Fight Scene..

I used cyanoarcylate adhesive to attach the foam pieces... And I just used an ordinary Spray Paint to color it... First you need to do is just Primed it using a Primer Paint or Acrylic Emulsion, then go on with the Main Color...

Yes it is possible, You just need to use your imagination and never give up on working with it... And most specially is, Have Fun and Enjoy crafting!

Actually, the cowl on my very first post is different from the pictures from the convention I attended... If you are looking at the eyebrows that looks sculpted, I just used polymer clay (oven baked clay) for it.. You have to sculpt the shape first then bake it.. After the clay cures, You can stick it on the foamies using cyanoacrylate adhesive.. The eyebrows of the cowl that I used on the convention were just pure foamies.. Just cut it like that and stick it in an angled position to make it look buffy..

Oh yeah.. By the way, The Dark Knight Rises Movie is a major sponsor on this event (11th Philippine Toy Convention 2012)... That's why the Original Dark Knight Suit used on the Movie was here..

DAMN.. I was so amazed and shocked when I saw it...
Too bad I didn't had a pic with it while Im wearing my Desert Storm Suit...
