These suits can stand toe to toe with the original suits from the P1 and P2 film. they are that dead on. IMHO

No doubt about it. Sandy ROCKS!!! Jeez I think it's time to strip down my sculpt and start all over again

One thing i keep geting reminded when i see these suits is the quills, it's such a detail that adds that much more realism to the creatures.
soo realistic you kinda forget there is a man inside the suit. when you can get to that level of detail your setting the mark for all to follow.

I want to know what paints were used for the making of the suits. I've been trying to figure out how to paint the bodysuit,
without having it chip off or wear down from the armor.

give us the down low on specific makes of paint used, specifically the copper on the armor

Kurt Carley is 6 foot 3.
The feet give him about 2 inch lift, and the head gives him another 3 inches or so. Since I cast Clark first, I needed a Predator that wasn't TOO tall. Kurt was perfect. With the suit on, he was around
6 feet, 8 inches.
As far as paint... well, that depends on what I was painting...
Basically, for the helmets, weapons and everything that wasn't latex or foam rubber, was painted with acrylics.
The suit, head, hands and feet were painted with rubber cement paint and rubber inks.

Just wondering SC, it took me 3 years to make my hunter, from the time you started till, finish product..... how long?

I made 4 suits, some with multiple heads in 5 months.
I had some help from some very talented guys...
including Simon Tams Nick Alvarez, Greg Ramoundous, Pat Magee and Erick DellaVega.
I worked 16 hour days, 7 days a week to make:
4 suits, 4 sets of hands, 4 sets of feet, 6 heads, 3 helmets, 400 dreads, over a thousand spines, a hundred little bones and skulls, 200 yards of leather lanyard and endless GALLONS of latex and foam.

And that's just the PREDATOR stuff!!!
I'll try to send Andrew more "making of" pix every week or so.

SC

That's awesome Sandy looking foward to the pics!!!

So Kurt gained 5 inches from his Pred feet, mask, helmet. I hope I get gains of 5", I'll be an even 7 Feet.
