After waiting patiently for 20 years I finally tracked down the car I've always wanted. Drove through a snowstorm to pick it up and now have it stored away for the rest of the winter. It's a 77 SE, automatic just like in the movie.

Congrats! :thumbsup

I loved mine when I had it even more than my vette.

Nice score. Looks like it is good shape.

The 77 SE is getting harder and harder to find. Where did you end up locating one?

Close to Montreal. It's in incredible shape - a few minor details but nowhere close to in need of a restoration.

Just out of curiosity, when you say near Montreal, you don't mean Northern Vermont, do you? I knew a guy name Mark who had one of those rigs.

Fantastic! For a northern F-body to be in that kind of shape, you are one lucky sumbitch. :) :thumbsup

Congratulations man, she's a beauty! (Now that is one prop I'd definitely love to have.) Nice score! :thumbsup

Don't you mean scumbum? It's almost weird to watch the movies on DVD and not hear the tv edits after all these years.

The car looks to be in great shape. Great find. Hope you enjoy it.

for those who have won the lotto, you could pic up one of those year one burt reynolds bandit se. like the one at the end of fast and furious.
