Compared the 1/144 U-Wing pictures to the Revell U-Wing in my hands... and there's no comparison. The engine profiles, the airspeeder grills, the wing edge detail -- Bandai has it and the Revell doesn't. I mean, Bandai even got their cockpit figures to passably look like Cassian and K2SO. Revell's are larger and look like blobs. The good thing about the U-Wing design is that it's not outside my wheelhouse to scratch-build at a larger scale. If Bandai doesn't produce a 1/72 version, this will at least serve as a good reference.
However, I think we need to give credit where credit is due. I don't agree about the pilots on the Revell U-wing being "blobs" I have painted the Revell U-wing pilots myself, and they are on par with Bandai pilots as far as shaprness and detail.
Bob said:BB-8 is just under £105.00 which is ok for me, its the only BB-8 ive seen thats got the underneath of the head right and not squashed down on his body. I wonder if he has a "drawer" that pops out or an arm with a flame on it.

Can anyone please explain why there are two "laser guns" next to the AT-AT pilots, one is thinner barrelled than the other one. Is this like that X-wing engine exhaust that was different? Did one AT-AT have a thinner gun on one side?

That U-wing!! :love Those figures look so good for the scale you can instantly see thats K2SO, at 1/72 that would look amazing! I would definately buy that in 1/72.
It seems that their were different 'ear' guns on different models or at different times. I imagine they are just giving you options.

The Bandai site above says "laser cannon × 2 types (hard material × 1, soft material × 1)" in the description.
Of course. What did you think nerf herders were for? What? A "Build & Play" model? This is a serious war machine, nothing to play with..! I guess the softer guns are the first steps into a larger world... The world of NERF GUNNERY!![]()
