no you said you would drive from alabama to my house to "pay me a personal visit" and no sane person drives states over to say hello and then leave you got issues and yeah I said you would get a warning to stay off my property and if you proceeded to come onto my property I would call the cops and then if you were still here I by law can defend my property.

yes his is nice but he said he wasnt making many and the kits are 300.00 and come in about 19 pieces, a finished version he said he can have done by november for 600.00. He also said his gun was 10% smaller than the actual 1:1 version of the gun. The one I have for sale is fan made from several pieces of wood that have been sanded, epoxied together, painted with base coats of orange and black, wet sanded then I hit it with 3 more coats and added odd stains,scratches and battle wear here and there along with some hand painted alien gliphs, can my gun compete with weta's gun no, can the price compete with wondersquids completed version yes but everyone has their own opinions on what they like and what they feel is a good deal.Oh please just admit it was you all along, nobody here really cares about wether you signed up or your friend did.
Look, people. Don't even waste time debating the quality of his work, quality is in the eye of the beholder and you'll never convince him otherwise. Just flag his listing as trademark infringement and eBay will pull the listing, because he's selling these illegally when Weta holds the License.
Oh, and by the way, you might want to do a search for Wondersquid on the forum, here's his scratchbuilt gun.

Regardless, i'm sure you're eager to play nice now. The flak you're getting for this is because you passed off the origional as something that it wasen't. Your eBay listing just stole the description from Weta's website about the origional Arc Gun prop they made.
I'm not sure what you think you're going to win in court. You don't have any legal standing to sell copies of Weta's intellectual property, and you would lose. Plain and simple, your listing violated eBay's seller standards. That's not based on opinion, but fact.
Wether or not you plan to take this silly "harassment" counter claim against him is another matter entirely, but you don't have a legal leg to stand on here in the origional case. Claims court is not the supreme court, it dosen't work like Law & Order. You won't be calling fiberglass and paper experts to determine if the gun was good or not, all they would hear is "item was mis-represented and violated the copyright holders intellectual property".
yes I know its not like tv shows, but never take someone to court after you made threats and never even came through with the original deal, I spent 80.00 getting the gun to him and I said I would refund him the measly 120.00 I was left with but no he wanted the shipping money that I spent just getting the gun to him too? Well, I believe part of his arguement was that the shipping didn't cost as much as you quoted it as costing, so I believe you would be required to prove that it did infact cost that much, as opposed to inflating the shipping cost to skim out on refunding him.
