Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build NEW VIDEO JACKET pg 27!!!

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

Have you done the toe correction as Jedifyfe did? I am size 10 and can fit into mine (have not done the toe correction) and do not think I could wear them very long with my toes rubbing against the toe box.

Nope, just took out the silver insole. When i wear them its for less than an hour or so, it doesnt bother my feet too much

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

Yeah, my feet fit better without the toe correction but they are still semi comfortable.

Like stretchy slippers then eh? Nice. :thumbsup

Do you think I'd be able to get my size 12 feet in there?

In one of those shots, it looks like your toes are about pop out the ends. Sure the Lycra is stretchy, but that just looks tight.

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

I'm a size 12 and it's not even close. I honestly don't know how these size 11 people are doing it.

When I put my bare foot next to one of the shoes, my foot length heel to toe is just a hair longer than the overall outside length of the Markpoons.

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

The MP MAGs are supposed to be US9. I have size 8 and 10 K-MAGs as well and you'd think a 9 would be half way in between 8 and 10. Not the case. The MP MAG is just slightly larger than the size 8s making me think that maybe they are actually 8.5.

:( I wear size 13 so I am nowhere close to squeezing in.

Well that sucks!

Gotta admit, I do want the shoes but not if I can't wear them. It would eat me up inside! :lol

Mark needs to do another run at a larger size! Most adult males I know are 11 or higher...

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

I never wanted to wear them though... Just display them :)

But enough hijacking with shoe talk... Sorry Brad!! Carry on with your build thread :)

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

I would say you would fit in with 2015 teens great job on the jacket too.

Join the masses of people on here that have asked him to do this, and see what he says. He just doesn't seem to care. He says the maker of the size 9's is retired, and stock is limited. That was some time ago, and he's still selling them. I mean, Mark's stuff is awesome, and I don't want to say anything mean about him, but I wonder if his main motivation for not making other sizes is to keep selling his current stock. What's silly, is that if he offered size 12's, he'd probably sell *at least* as many shoes as the 9's all over again. Surely even more though given how excited people would be to be able to wear them.

Likely! I can understand the desire to sell one's stock before moving on though. Maybe next time he just needs to get less stock! :lol

One day someone will make them in a larger size and make a killing.

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

He probably has not done it for the cost of tooling, but you've got a good point. If he was to put it to the forums, I am sure he would get plenty of positive responses. If I could have bought his shoes in a US10, there is now way I'd be doing a scratch build.

It's a shame the MPs are too small fer yer feets. They're such good quality and honestly one of the most comfortable "sports" shoes i've worn in a while.

I'm most likely buying another couple of pairs from Mark but I may try unpicking the collars and just replacing them with the pleather collars i've been making. Since thin gs are so damn hectic at work right now I'm also thinking of putting my scratchbuild on hold and spend time trying to cast clear MP soles.

It seems as though the one chair that we need is almost extinct. What luck. :unsure

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

OK, so if we were to get a master made up, what are the size and lengths?
