After reading the review again , my hopes have been raised again because of several issues.

1, they do not mention the word YAUTJA
2, they state its a game for Adults NOT kids, so the correct theme of voilence and nasty deaths will be there.
3, they have the mini review where they call AVP and AVPR BAD, giving valid points that we often bring up on this very forum.

This already has my attention and hopes spirraling up more than the proposed new film.

Heres hoping both PREDATORS and AVP3 do justice to our most favorite of hunters.

Any of you guys in the UK with a scanner, go buy PSW this month (Playstation World) as it has a nice long article about this game.
But best of all, and I know it may or may not be true, it has the ETA of the game as NOVEMBER this year and Aliens Colonial Marines as 2010.

Holy Crap! This looks friggin' amazing! Sadly, I must confess I have never played AVP 1 or 2. I know, I'm ashamed! But now I'm stoked about this. Now I have two games to look forward to; Aliens: Colonial Marines (if it ever comes out!) and now this! Yay!

P.S. I can't say I'm crazy about their Pred-alien, but it's better than Chet at least. My policy is just take your standard Alien drone and put Pred mandibles on it. NO DREADS.

I like it.... it actually looks like an alien for a start have to say the bio's look a little clunky but overall looks like one too look forward too....

Wow, this game so far is looking awesome. I like what I read except for the part where they wanna take away the alien's speed. As an alien player, that was the only real advantage I had. I might have to switch to pred for this game. I'm also glad they didn't go with that horrible ADI resurrection alien design, aside for the tail. *shakes fist*

I'm all for Alien speed, but I want it in a Mirror's Edge tradition (applies to all species though: you'll have to make momentum before you have some speed.

I remember playing AVP2 24/7, and still do play it sometimes...that game is still fun. Hopefully AvP3 will be even funner

This is the best news I've heard in a long time. I was crushed when they took AVP2 offline. Hopefully it's for the 360.

you can play with the few of us that still play online.


I also hope that they will improve the Naginata/Spear in AvP3 for the predator. It didn't seem to have much reach at all in AVP2 and I found the wrist blades more effective because the strikes were alot quicker.

Well, not sure how many if any of you were around for Rebellions 1st PC AVP, but myself and another dude named Sadogoat will be playing this. We were there in the beginning. It will be cool to see how many of the original crowd make a come back to play this 3rd incarnation.

I am happy Rebellions getting another kick at the can. They did afterall creat the Jaguar console system Original AVP. And their AVP PC 1 release imho is still the best PC AVP release. It will be cool to see what they can do now that they are using a real Next Gen Engine.
