Does anyone know if Vinman ever made AVP shin template?

I have searched the thread but may have missed it.

i printed the shurriken but seems too big to me:

seems bigger in real life thou, now that i saw the pics doesnt look that big, waht you guys think?

Looks ok to me fella, about the right size. What size paper did you print that on?

If your unsure of the sizing, there is a reference picture at the top of the page. Did the image not have a size scale in inches?

well i used letter, and when printing i left it at 100% scale size (normal) , yeah the image has the inches scale, but to my eye it kinda look big, but im gonna do it like that to see what happens, in AVPR when the shuriken kills the blonde girl it looks really big too

I think they come in all different sizes, plus the wolf pred is a fully skilled hunter so will probaly have a big shuriken than the AVP one as they are beginners (or rookies if you will) - start from small end up big

im gonna try a mechanism for the shuriken, but first i have to make the shuriken so its gonna take long, but if i manage to get it done ill share with you

Cool, I have been trying to figure out a way to make the blades spring out and then close. Been racking my brains for weeks, I think I may have figured out a way using wires against springs, sort of like a toy push-in knife.

But still working on it.

By the way, any ideas if Vinman ever made a template for the shin armour? I have looked everywhere but found nothing.

no i havent, im working on the blade gauntlet, but untill i have a few more progress and pics, i will not post, but its getting there

Hey guys,

The shin armor has so many overlapping scales I decided this piece would work better in latex. I purchased a pair from Mr. Fett.

Sorry another question,

What are people using to make the blades out of? Am working on the bomb computer at the mo but moving onto the blade gaunlet after and wanted to make the blades first

they use sintra,abs plastic sheet, plexiglass, etc. but i will use a pepakura blades that i did from the movieman files in the pepakura thread

They look awesome, gotta get around to making some, just bomb computer wiring is taking its time and so is the construction - got the cuff but it making the actual computer thats taking the time. So many layers.

Been working on them for the last few days completed the chest armor and shoulder bells they came up great ill get some pictures up soon.
