Hi all:

Welcome to my prop inventory for 2025!. The vast majority of these replicas are NOT my own design, so I'll be sure to try to credit where I can! I hope you enjoy!

In case there's any doubt, THESE PROP REPLICAS ARE NOT FOR SALE.

Please let me know if you find this interesting, and feel free to ask questions, make suggestions, or drive-by with insults! :p

Here's a view of the entire collection (as of January 1, 2025):

I received Sabine's Helmet from Star Wars: Ahsoka (TV). This is the Black Series version that went on sale last week.

PXL_20250108_234017220.jpg PXL_20250108_234031521.jpg

Not much to say. It looks great, feels like it's the right size, and the viewfinder lights up when lowered. Fun stuff! The weathering is not overdone, and a little more realistic than the typical Black Series fare.

REAL PROP ALERT!

I received these South African Rand Notes from Chappie (2015), purchased from Propabilia on eBay.

PXL_20250111_233326627.jpg PXL_20250111_233253800.jpg

According to the COA, this money was produced for the film. There's no way to know if the notes were seen on screen, of course. The quality is really incredible; they seem almost real to me!

(I think I need to make a Guard Key to go with them for context!)

I received this Gizmo the Mogwai doll from Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), produced by Trick or Treat Studios and shipped by Entertainment Earth.

PXL_20250117_221112113.jpg PXL_20250117_221156536.jpg

It was a pre-order, and it did not disappoint!

The legs are not poseable, but the arms have armature wire in them for posing. The head is on a ball joint and is very poseable! The ears can also be raised or lowered (they are not flexible), so I consider that articulation to be pretty good! Yes, Gizmo stands up on his own!

The fur took to a brushing quite nicely, but it's a tiny bit long compared to the film. For accuracy, I think he should be trimmed just a little. But I'm okay with that, and only trimmed a little around the eyes.

All in all, an excellent character "prop" replica!

I received this Blaster from Forbidden Planet (1956), purchased from a seller here on the RPF. This is the Museum Replicas version.

PXL_20250119_002226000.jpg PXL_20250119_002253381.MP.jpg PXL_20250119_002315287.jpg

I believe the blaster is made of cast resin, with acrylic for the barrel. It's beefy! Pressing the button causes the clear barrel to light up.

Forbidden Planet.mkv_snapshot_00.26.56_[2025.01.18_17.00.41].jpg Forbidden Planet.mkv_snapshot_01.17.36_[2025.01.18_22.12.06].jpg Forbidden Planet.mkv_snapshot_01.33.51_[2025.01.18_22.12.39].jpg

(This was a bit of a grail item for me, as my dad introduced me to Forbidden Planet when I was young, impressionable, and susceptible to "monsters from the id"! If he were still around today he would have loved to have seen it.)

Finished this Llama Comb from The Emperor's New Groove (2000), designed and built from scratch by myself.

PXL_20250118_235034712.jpg

The comb was designed based on multiple conflicting screenshots from the opening scene of the film (as happens in animation), and then 3D printed in resin and finished in gold rattle can. The eyes are 9mm teal rhinestones. Not much to it, and the finish is a little sloppy, but that's appropriate for something that's supposed to be from centuries ago! :)

(Looks good on the animation shelf with llama potion!).

I finished this Guard Key and Case from Chappie (2015), scratch-built by myself!

PXL_20250123_030442419.jpg PXL_20250123_030456473.jpg PXL_20250123_030517063.MP.jpg PXL_20250123_030527440.jpg PXL_20250123_030535894.jpg

The USB key itself is a genuine Logitech Nano Receiver, of the exact same make and model as was used in the film (u0010). I painted it dark red, and printed vinyl labels to match.

The case is a Pelican 1010, precisely as used in the film, and the foam block is the model designed for this case. I designed and cut vinyl labels, and sliced the foam to hold the key.

Very happy with how this came out!

REAL PROP ALERT!

I received this Cortical Stack from Altered Carbon (TV), purchased from Propabilia on eBay.

PXL_20250130_012042722.jpg PXL_20250130_012016005.jpg

It appears to be made out of resin, and is nicely painted and weathered. I imagine it was made for one of the scenes in the show where you see piles of stacks in quantities.

I finally finished this Intercom Speaker from Severance (TV), 3D printed from a model provided by an user here on the RPF, and with some electronics added!

aPXL_20250131_005513475.jpg bPXL_20250130_210105608.jpg

After resin printing the model and painting the box and plate, I stripped and installed an MP3 doorbell with the recording of my choice.

cPXL_20250130_203346541.jpg dPXL_20250130_221459173.jpg

And so it talks on demand!

February 1, 2025:

I made these two paper prop replicas from Severance (TV).

The Ms. Casey "MISSING" Flyer from Season 2, Episode 3, was enlarged from a file found online. A downloadable copy can be found here on the RPF. I printed mine on Astrobrights Lunar Blue, and folded in fourths like Helly did. Quick and simple background paper prop for the Severance collection!

PXL_20250201_231513363.jpg movieddl.me_Severance.S02E03.Who.Is.Alive.2160p.ATVP.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.H.265-NTb.mkv_snapshot_04.3...jpg movieddl.me_Severance.S02E03.Who.Is.Alive.2160p.ATVP.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.H.265-NTb.mkv_snapshot_04.5...jpg

Petey's Funeral Program and Prayer Card are from Season 1, Episode 4. The designs come from RPF Member RafalFett!

After printing the program on lain paper, I printed the funeral card on photo paper and laminated it. The accuracy is questionable, because we don't see much of the card in the episode, but it's there!

I received these Elemental Stones from The Fifth Element (1997), purchased from a member here on the RPF! I believe they originally hail from Reel Art.

PXL_20250202_172100821.MP.jpg

They're about 8-1/4" tall, so smaller than the originals, I think. They're heavy, solid resin, maybe cast, but I'm not sure. But they look fantastic!

EDIT: I take it back, these are full size. Sorry for the misinformation!

(Since they dominate my shelf, I've instead scattered them around the living room; think I'll place tea lights on top! Got the approval from the wife this time, because The Fifth Element is one of her favorite movies!)

Well I am glad you are happy with them. I had no idea they were not the correct size.

Take good care of them. I will miss them.

I received this At Attin Middle School Gamma Patch from Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (TV), purchased from a member here on the RPF! These are made by bobatrek and found in the Classifieds!

PXL_20250131_152717745.jpg

It's really excellent quality, ready for display right away! Needs the corduroy filling as a background, but close enough! I may have to dirty it up some.

Totally fine, they feel right in the hand! I love them!

EDIT: I was wrong...they're full size...I had some bad info!

I received and added weathering to this Pip-Boy 3000 Mk V from Fallout (TV), purchased as a pre-order from Bethesda Gear last year and finally received!

PXL_20250202_220109119.jpg PXL_20250202_220129132.jpg PXL_20250202_220147383.jpg PXL_20250202_220235318.jpg PXL_20250202_215854449.jpg

I won't go into detail, except to say that it shows all the screens you see in the show, acts as an alarm clock, serves as a radio, stays on when plugged in, has many configuration options and even makes breakfast! ;)

I felt the uniform black weathering that came with it was insufficient, so I hit it hard with a layer of dark brown, removing some with cotton balls. Now it looks like it's been in the Wasteland for a few decades!

I received this "Mammalians Nurturable" Department Key Card (grass green) from Severance (TV), purchased from a seller on Etsy.

PXL_20250207_003338407.MP.jpg

It's a plastic printed card and cloth lanyard, just like all the other access cards from the show. Feels like a perfect match!

In order to complete my collection of key cards, I ordered these "Optics & Design" (green) and "Management" (black) Key Cards from Severance (TV), also picked up on Etsy.

PXL_20250217_220456989.jpg PXL_20250217_220618248.jpg

Very nice quality, as usual! The black card has a much heavier lanyard and also comes with a retractable badge holder, just like on screen.

I received these Old Republic Credits from Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (TV), purchased from zenix here on the RPF!

PXL_20250219_010840576.jpg PXL_20250219_010829423.jpg

The credits are cast in metal and then gold plated. They should be weathered some, but I love the shine so much! So these are credits directly from the mint, not yet in circulation. ;)

I finally finished my Rey's Lightsaber from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. This is a KR Sabers "Rey Scavenger" saber to which I added the wrap and weathered myself.

PXL_20250226_224605885.jpg PXL_20250226_224552816.jpg PXL_20250226_224504863.jpg PXL_20250226_224512277.jpg PXL_20250226_224530871.jpg

I'm not much of a fan of the film, but the saber itself rocks!

It came all black anodized with no wrap. So I ordered a wrap kit from KR, and finished it myself:
  1. Soaked the wrap cloth pieces in hot coffee for 30 minutes.
  2. Took a file to many of the edges, wearing off the black anodizing and showing the silver underneath.
  3. Applied a light rust wash to recessed areas, dabbing off with cotton balls.
  4. Drybrushed the emitter flaps very lightly with silver to bring out the details.
  5. Applied the wrap.
I'm super stoked with how it came out!
