Kick that Lizard's, Geico loving butt!!!:angry When I get my Chewie done I will be there to help.
The funny thing is, I LOVE Bossk! I actually have a bag of supplies and fabric to build a Bossk in my attic that I just never got around to doing. I figured I was too tall to do him right and decided to go with my first love, Chewie.
Bossk is by far my favorite bounty hunter, way ahead of Boba Fett in my book (Although I love them both). Bossk is like the Nightcrawler to Fett's Wolverine... the guy who is actually cooler and over shadowed by the obvious fan favorite.
So, what does Wookie taste like? :lol Great costume, almost too realistic.![]()
According to Bossk, "Wookie tazte like Chikin".
Thanks Guri. If you haven't seen it, there is a thread about three pages back now that goes into all the details of how my Bossk was created. You might like the Draconian I did too, which won the Best Fantasy Character award at the last Dragon-Con. (I have a soft spot for reptilian characters).
Your White Witch is fantastic, and a great addition to this snow-themed thread. Thanks for posting!
Great bossk, but just curious, what's up with your Avatar? :lol
:lol Thanks! It was one of those moments where I just looked around at my workspace, frustrated that I couldn't anchor them well enough - and I saw it and the stick fit.
Most 'Bossks' are just "a guy wearing a mask and a yellow cotton coverall". This photo was used as an Avatar to indicate that a realistic Bossk would have a green scaly body as well. It also illustrates how a real, impermeable, insulated, high altitude flight suit, (like the Windak RAF suit that the Bossk character wears in the films), would really open, and why Bossk's suit has the black rubber collar-planchard, unlike the usual yellow cotton coverall that zips or buttons down the front, like the typical 'Bossk' wears (over which is a stylish black vest, as the real rubber collar-planchard is typically misunderstood by most Bossk costumers).
No sexual inuendo is implied, if that is your question. In our society male chests are never censored, and this is a fake rubber chest, much like the mask. Actually, I had intended to stage a funny photo of some attractive 'Star Warsy' human female (like Princess Leia) carressing Bossk's chest in his opened flight suit, but didn't have the opportunity yet. Your 'laughing' emotican does suggest you thought the Avatar was funny, and this was intended as well. Building and wearing sci fi and fantasy costumes should not be taken too seriously, despite the striving for realism and authenticity.
But now I am curious too. Does this photo 'bother' anyone? And why?
Awesome snow scenes guys (and gals).
So how are these costumes in the freezing cold? Chewie seems like he'd be okay with all that hair.
