i think it's custom...
looks like it was made from the Maquis phaser from trek : voyager.
was it ever used in anything?

i've always liked this phaser / blaster and would like any info that could lead to me getting one

That blaster has been on B5 as well, you can see one on Kirk's trophy wall aslo. It was made from a Japanese kit of one of "The Dirty Pair" pistols. I don't know where you can find one though.
