Anyone have any Tips on applying MonoKote Chrome

I need to cover a resin base with chrome and was told to try MonoKote. Has anyone used this that can give me some tips. The piece if fairly small and has several compound curves. Here are some pics.

I am trying to get it to look like the chome metal one shown in the pic. I tried painting it with Alclad and the results were disappointing. As you can see it does not match the chrome clock at all.

Thanks

Yep. use a heat gun, and a Monocoat Iron, or small tefon coated travel iron. Iron it into place. It will curve around all the places. The heat melts the backing to stick to balsa, etc.
