Hi there guys, Im going to SDCC, and I wanted to start getting a list of things to do, and well, I wanted to see if there are any cool film locations in San Diego you may know about.

So far I got a list of places for TOP GUN, but thats about it.

Any help or hints will be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hotel Del Coronado was used and featured in the movies:

Some Like It Hot
Wicked Wicked
The Stunt Man (plus the Children's Pool) in La Jolla.

Also the Trolley Station and Convention Center were use in Demolition Man. But you'll probably naturally walk through both of those just going to the con.

The Kansas City Barbecue is only one trolley stop from the Con. It mostly burned up a couple of years ago but they rebuilt it. IT is the "dive bar" where they sing Great Balls of Fire, in Top Gun.

Pyramid shaped building in Demolition Man the 442 busts out of is next to Marine Corp Air Station Miramar. There is an air museum near there too on the base you can go to to make a decent trip of it.

Crap, I was going to post Top Gun stuff. Contact PHArchivist. He knows everything about film locations.
