ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

The item might arrive before receiving a reply, but that will only be one of the items. It could just be an email because the shipping label was created, but the item hasn't actually been shipped yet. I have had that happen with items from multiple vendors. If they are ready to ship an item, I would have expected to receive an email directly from Denuo Novo with the item and tracking number.

Either way it would be good to get an estimate of all unfulfilled orders and see if their communication is timely and accurate.

I have talked to them since the post here about the takeover/switchover/whatever. Generally they get back in about 24 hours. I was told before i got this notice that both my orders were due to ship around Sept 1st.

Per the tracking number, it's made it another city....
 
Has anyone emailed them and not received a response? I emailed them about my old Anovos order a week ago. No response.

It's good that whatever it is should arrive soon. Hopefully Denuo Novo starts sending an email to the customer when an item is shipped so the customer doesn't need to guess what the shipping notice is for.

I guess they were working on helmets for a while or these were already partly/fully complete by Anovos. Hopefully production and delivery will be consistent beyond this initial release. I'm more concerned about the items that were not already produced at the Texas facility. Those were the easy ones to start producing again.
 
Seems odd to me that anovos couldn't do squat for ages, yet the license changes hands and in approx 4 weeks they've got stuff going out the door....

And, yeah, the only reason i got notice is that i signed up with all the shippers years ago to notifiy me so I know/knew when to look for it on the porch :) I've not recieved any emails from anyone. Just responses to what I sent them. For the record.

I think Anovos lost the license roughly a year ago. So I assume this deal between Anovos, NECA and D has been in the works since then.
And if I was Newnovos, I too would have waited until the merch was near its shipping stage before making any announcements.

Anovos produced and delivered many Mando, Royal Guard, and Shoretrooper helmets. Apparently not all that were paid for, but still quite a few. I assume Anovos slowed down on producing them because of lack of money or they were in the process of working on the sale of the assets.

These were the easy ones to start producing again since Denuo Novo has direct access to the assets used to make them. The older items that have never been produced will take more effort to get going. I think the Flametrooper wasn't previously produced by Anovos. Hopefully there will be steady progress on releasing new items. It will take a long time before all of the long delayed items are finally produced.

After this, yeah...i'm going to draw it out for some theatrics :)

So, tracking info says signature required....doobell rings about 45 minutes ago. I run downstairs and see the UPS guy heading to his truck. It couldn't have been there more than 15 seconds since the doorball rang...I look down it's on my porch....so much for signature required...

I brought my Don Post down for comparison and, the DP was about as tall as the box. I don't know what Anovos was doing last year so i have no comparison there, my first thought was, so, uh, it's smaller? I read before it was bigger. So I proceed.

I pop open the the box and there was a piece of cardboard over this card to protect it.

But i noticed first, box in a box...it's a level of protection, but i'm thinking it's gotta fit in there?

I remove the card and open box two to see this:

The blacks is somewhat thick satin-y (not sure it's actual satin, but shiny and slick - it's actually a nice bag IMO).

Bonus pick - try as you (or I) might - with that many peanuts + this big a helmet = peanuts will spill!
