Prediction: I think you will actually get your items after all. But they will not be the quality level you hoped for.
I can see that (now). Not going to get my hopes up, but it looks like it
might just happen.
As for the quality, my belief is that we'll be getting the exact same thing. I have a feeling the "Anovos quality" was part of the negotiations. Remains to be seen.
Usually in a buyout, former debts are NOT part of the purchase. However, if Denuo Novo is actually taking on the outstanding debt/old orders from Anovos, that would be... weird, bizarre, but hopefully beneficial to all of us here (and elsewhere) that were shafted by Anovos.
Absolutely. That is still the unbelievable part. I'm sure this type of deal has happened before, it's just that I've never seen it until now. How fortunate would we be if they'd actually fulfill all those outstanding orders? Still shaking my head as I type this.
And the benefits would be across the board. Customers get their fully paid merch, and Newnovos kicks things off with a great reputation. If I were them I'd have a PR team make sure this slipped in the news streams.
Beyond that, Newnovos has the foresight that Anovos didn't> "storefronts" at 2 theme parks + a cosplay resort, where there's a regular flow of customers. At that's just the beginning. Add the next wave of Star Wars properties (Book of Boba Fett, Kenobi, Andor, etc) in addition to subsequent Mandalorian seasons, and there's another stream of revenue. Bo-Katan helmet/costume (and all Mando variants), Ahsoka head gear and costume, Fennec Shand helmet/costume, Transport Trooper helmet/costume...and that's just from one show.
If that wasn't enough, add the Avengers Campus and all things MCU into the mix and there's no way this can fail...
UNLESS Newnovos get complacent.
These are certainly interesting developments!
blewis17 If they were to offer you your original order, versus credit towards new purchases (but no outright refund), which would you accept?
Good question. Right now, I'd likely risk it and go with the original order.
