ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

I notice that their product images look very similar to the Anovos images, if they are not the exact same, as well as the prices being the same.

I did a sophisticated Visual Analysis, and discovered that they are NOT the same images.

Here are the results:

Notice how on the Mandalorian product image, the Anovos image on the left has an entirely different background than the image on the right.
Conclusion: they are NOT the same images.

The same can be said for the Imperial Royal Guard images. Blatantly different backgrounds.
Conclusion: they are NOT the same images.

These however do look slightly similar. But unfortunately the Star Wars brands are in completely different locations.
Therefore: they are NOT the same images.

Looks like DN have taken over Anovos.com. At least, if I type in the address it redirects to the new DN one, but if I Google Anovos, I still. get the old site
This is VERY odd. If I highlight the "Anovos.com" in your message and select "open in a new tab" in Firefox, it goes to Denuo Novo, but if I TYPE the address in the address bar, I still get the old Anovos site. Even tried it in Chrome, and as far as I know, I've never visited the site from that browser, so it shouldn't be a caching issue.

Either way... I'm very interested in knowing what will happen with the Trek and Marvel stuff, since I have received all my Star Wars items from them.

This all sounds sooo sketchy. What kind of a rebranding is this? Denuo Novo? What?
I would think that NECA, being a pretty established brand and company, have more sense than to do something that might screw over fans.

I notice that their product images look very similar to the Anovos images, if they are not the exact same, as well as the prices being the same. With the additional announcement that they will attempt to fulfill many of the existing Anovos orders, I am guessing that Rubies and NECA bought out Anovos and will be using their Molds, hence the "Fresh Beginning"-Novo. It's not that Rubies and NECA partnered together and were granted the "High End" license out fo the blue, but they went to Disney with the plan to take over ANOVOS's production and right the ship, and in order to do so they bought out ANOVOS.

The "many" products that ANOVOS costumers might still get will probably be those items they are currently listing, the Helmets and products that that ANOVOS had the production needs to produce in House in US, like the Molds or the Patterns. Anything like the Kylo ensemble that was wholly sourced out to CHina probably still won't ever come to fruition because ANOVOS lost the apterin's and molds to their Chinese factory and can't get them back, but anything whose means of production was present at the Texas facility has been taken by Rubies/NECA and will get made.
I think the same as well.. Anovos owes me an Executioner Helmet, and a Krennic Cape. I know I'll never see either.

Very interesting. The fact that I got this email gives me a bit of hope that my name is on list of products owed somewhere.

I don't care if they use the exact same images if it save NECA money to send out owed products.

Also, agree at least NECA is a company in pretty good standing as far as providing products.

OK... writing anovos.com in my safari browser on the phone goes to Denuo.

copy-pasting the text into the address bar also goes to the new site.

TYPING the entire address still goes to the old one.

Very odd. I tried through a web proxy and it went to Denuo.

My guess is that the Anovos site has been taken out of service and that DNS rerouting is taking place around the world, which usually takes a couple hours.

Yep - I guess Anovos.com will have disappeared by tomorrow.

If my conjecture that Rubies and NECA purchased/Bought out ANOVOS, I think it might be an attempt, even if it is ill fated and ill advised, to demonstrate that these are/were ANOVOS products/Molds, but NECA and Rubies intend to take those products and make it right. That's a very overly optimistic/positive take on the situation, but I am hoping it is an attempt on the new owners part to be open about and acknowledge where these products are coming from.

Good call, Lee. I just did the same. I am guardedly optimistic about this news. It falls somewhere between ANOVOS disappearing entirely, taking all our wasted money and unfilled orders with it... and Disney stepping in to restructure them and float the cash to get them back up to speed as a longer-term investment and banking of goodwill with the customer base. I admit, I hadn't seen "buyout by a more established company in the same field" as an option, and I don't know why...

I got to Anovos and screenshotted my unfulfilled orders. I want to believe but I’ve been hurt before.

Same here.
Thanks DancerRonin

I am hopeful this means folks will get the product(s) they've been waiting so long for. Being a sub to NECA will hopefully upright the ship...

That being said, this all reads like the Anovos Star Wars stuff got spun off to Denuo Novo, and I won't be giving them a dime until I see they:
  1. Fulfill the existing Anovos orders
  2. Actually reply within 3 business days as their website advertises
  3. Demonstrate a consistent track record of communication, meeting delivery deadlines, and delivering quality products
Wish them all the best of luck! They have a huge hill to climb...

Just got an email from them obviously they have access to anovos orders if they are working to fulfill them.

Some interesting points is they are not taking new orders other than the last of those 4 runs V2 shore, Royal Guard, Mando, and Flame.

I have received everything I've ordered from Anovos except the Jyn Erso. From the AT-AT driver ensemble to recently the GB legacy pack. They take forever 4+ years in some cases, but the quality is there so if NECA and Rubies carry on the quality and improve on their delivery and communication then I'm all for it.
