I know a lot of you have probably seen this. But I just find it sad that a company doesn't respond to the BBB for YEARS, until the pressure gets turned up on them. And they STILL can't follow through.
What are those "major" products, they are referring to, and did they indeed meet that promise?

Pattern of Complaint
This company moved from the service area of BBB Wisconsin (BBBW) into the service area of BBB of the Tri-Counties (BBBTC) in early 2017. BBBTC began publishing this report on this company on 2/16/17.
According to BBBW, on January 27th, 2016, the BBB sent a certified letter to ANOVOS Productions due to a pattern of consumer concerns received by BBB from consumers. In the complaints, consumers advised that they had not received their orders.
On March 14th, 2016 the BBB sent a certified follow up letter to the company after receiving no response to the initial letter.
As of March 28th, 2016 the BBB has not received a response or phone call to the pattern of complaints.

BBB has received numerous complaints from consumers stating that they have ordered products that have not been delivered and experience difficulty when attempting to obtain a refund. On June 18, 2019 the company contacted BBB and stated that they are working diligently to ship products that have been ordered, but delivery has been delayed due to manufacturing issues. That company also stated that two of the major products that they sell, one of which has been delayed for a long period, are now being shipped.
What are those "major" products, they are referring to, and did they indeed meet that promise?

BBB is like yelp for old people. It doesn't really mean anything.
I did receive the Kylo Ren helmet BUT I did had to communicate with them because I was off the list for the recent batch since I had requested a refund for that item over a year ago even though I never actually received a refund.

Well I got my Mando helmet. It’s beautiful. Yes, it has the ear issue but the weathering and pain it great. Sharp details and not too much gloss or “rust,” or dirt. I’ll post pics if people care.
Now if I can get the other things they owe me, I’ll be able to die happy.

Would definitely like to see pics to compare.
So I have to say, the helmet is MUCH darker than I expected. Using the actual paint, I can see why though. Studio lights are STUPIDLY bright (unless you’re watching Solo), so it needed to be.
The box was a little smashed. The outer shipping box is also the actual box. So, the brown mailer is the product box. That made me nervous, because this thing is a lot lighter than anything else I’ve ever owned out of fiberglass. But it was just fine.
The two-tone paint job is also very well done. I cannot explain the ear caps, except the helmet MUST have some element that’s forcing it to pop out instead of being flush. As for the black u-shaped decal, it’s hard to tell if it’s a sticker or painted as the clear coat covers it and seals it.
Overall, I’m SUPER happy with this. I have also ordered the efx version from Chronicle, so as soon as it comes in through the Corona Virus customs, I’ll make some comparison photos. If anyone wants any other pics, let me know.

Sorry to hear about the ear cap issues on the helmet.
What’s funny is I know it’s not right, and it SORT OF bothers me, but the rest of it is so amazing I just kind of don’t care. Which is SO NOT ME! I’m usually SO ANAL that it should. Details for me are so key, especially at this price point.
Also, I was shocked at how SLIM it really is compared to a Boba Fett. Which brings up the fact that some of the fan-made ones aren’t even close. Even the front runner, the Boba Maker one, which I was super hot to get? Clearly not a new sculpt and is just a Fett that’s been modified.
Maybe I just am so amazed it’s here, and that the rest of it is so perfect, I’m overlooking it. It looks amazing on a shelf—
— and I’m guessing the efx one is going to have its issues too. Whichever one ends up on the movie room mannequin, we shall see.

I've got a chance to order the Anovos Mandalorian helmet. I MIGHT but still on the fence with it's potential issues. I have EFX's on PO and not sure I really need two , unless I was cosplaying or something which isn't a plan.

Not to stir the pot, but with all the divisiveness over Aovos's crappy business structure, wait times, refund issues, etc. over 8 years or so, why are they still in business?
I spoke with my money. I purchased from them directly one time, then after 2 years of waiting, I received an e-mail me out of the blue to say (paraphrase) "Sorry. We ran out of the thing you PREORDERED two years ago and have been waiting on. Your order has been cancelled. Sorry/not sorry for sitting on your $1,700 for two years. You can have your money back now."
This came not long after a very irate conversation with Anovos customer service, so I can't see it as anything other than personal retaliation. Great business practices, Anovos. They, as expected, didn't respond to the BBB complaint I submitted.
In the, what, four years since that happened, I have steered many, many other collectors away from them and have spent my money with anyone but them.
I'm just surprised more haven't done the same.
This is a prop-maker and collector community. I'm 100% sure a group of you can come together, do leagues better, and show Anovos the door.
