That's kookie - myself, I am skilled enough to sand back the bead of acrylic clear coat and re-polish it but boy, what a rookie move, that pooling of acrylic.
This seems way premature to be criticizing the quality when no one has received a finished helmet yet. Let's see what the finished product looks like first. We don't know if the ones in the photo will be sent to customers or at what stage they are in the process.Just wanted to point out something I haven’t seen mentioned. Their Mandalorian helmets have a LOT of clear coat pooling, at least on the two visible in this photo. I bet you almost every single one will have it. They must be absolutely drenching these things, and unfortunately the only way you’d be able to fix it is by sanding it back and repainting.
If it’s just going to sit on your shelf and won’t bother you, I’m happy for ya, but it is a flaw and flaws should be called out IMO. Especially when the helmets are over $600.

That a super easy helmet to produce as far as production goes and not worth $700, the biker scout which EFX made is a much more complexe helmet and was much cheaper, BTW its crappy looking, it looks silver painted with heavy clear coat, the ones in the show looks like real polished metal.I think we all need to keep in mind that as good as Anovos claims the Mandalorian helmet is, it is a mass produced helmet. Yes, $700 is a lot of money for a helmet but for people that don't have the skills to make one then it is still a valid option.
Now, if you want the most accurate, perfect and awesome helmet then you are going to have to buy one raw, modify it to perfection and learn how to perfectly recreate the finish and gloss and that with your time, supplies and equipment will be much more than $700.
For $700 even though that is a lot of money it looks pretty darn good.
Now weather they will actually deliver or if people should give Anovos a dime and contribute to their business practices is a completely different story.

Well EFX is the tell. It’s a limited run and they’re not sold out. The Biker Scott, and the Legends Vader helmets were both sold out in under a day.
Yet this is still available. That is telling to me that we as a community are getting wiser with our money. Hitting these companies that don’t deliver where it hurts. Their wallets.

With bobamaker’s kit and some molotow chrome paint, it would come in way under $700
I'm not sure how you guys were able to wait this long for any of your orders. After the second delay on my order I asked for a refund. Then hounded them every day till I got it. I have zero patients. I have better use of my time and money.
What details were missed? I still don't see how anyone can be commenting on details or quality considering no one has received a completed Mandalorian helmet from Anovos or efx.You could get Bobamaker’s helmet and the actual paint (Alumaluster) and still come in under $700.
Anyone with a keen eye should be able to replicate this paint job. What’s crazy to me is Anovos and EFX had it infront of them and they still missed details.
