ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

It's a shame Anovos has gone down this "doomed to fail" dark "pre-order" path, and are unable to consistently deliver. Any over/under takers when they go out of business? I give them until end of August 2018.

Then again - if Disney is showcasing these products in their stores - they very well may be willing to put the squeeze on Anovos to make sure these products get delivered to their in-store customer orders, or Disney will end up with egg on their face. And they can't have that...

Would love to know if the Prop Shop is making good on their product orders.

"We're currently unable to complete your order at this time due to being out of stock of Angel Tears and Unicorn blood. We will update as more becomes available."

If you bought them there, you will not leave with them. Instead, you will be on the same waiting list as the rest of us. And if this is Anovos standard line, Disney has increase the price by 50% from the online price.

Got mine right before SDCC. I've been out of state since then so I still haven't takes it out of the box yet. It could be a box of bricks for all I know. But hey, I got an official Anovos box. Now if they'd only ship those OT Stormtrooper and Kylo Ren ensembles...

Leeway, would love to see some Vader pix when you get a chance. When did you order yours? Mine was about a year ago.
 
I ordered my ANOVOS Vader helmet Nov 30 2014, on tier 1 pricing. That was my first ANOVOS order, & I've received nothing. It was nice hear a very few received theirs before SDCC, but as far as I know, no one has received any since.
In the meantime, my race is still ongoing. Who will fulfill one of my orders, & send me a helmet first? ANOVOS (approaching 2 years wait)? eFX (2 years & going wait)? or RS PropMasters (approaching 1.5 years wait)?

I think I ordered it the day they went on sale ($250?!?!?!?). I'll be back next week and I'll post pics then.
 
Unfortunately, I didn't hear about the Vader helmet until long after tier 1 pricing expired. Hopefully, it's worth full price!

For me, I stopped waiting. I requested, and received, refunds for both the Han Solo and Luke Skywalker Bespin costumes. If they ever become in-stock and start shipping, I plan on re-ordering then. I know I will pay more than when I originally pre-ordered them but I would rather pay more and actually receive the item.

I am with you on this, I would want to know that what I am paying for, is actually co I got to me for real.

there is a limit to one's patience and I applaud those who are on the ride...
 
Yup. As much as the Tier 1 orders were awesome discounts on prices for hopefully fantastic items, I said the same earlier in this thread; I won't mind paying the higher price(s), after its out, and made its way into collectors' hands, and they've shown that they were worth it.
 
ANOVOS is staying afloat due to the two cash influxes of their OT trooper kits, the first white one funded everything, the second black one paying for their development now, their corporate balance sheet will suck once they ship out all tbose shadowtrooperkits (currently double posting assets as the cash received, and the goods/kits in hand) if there are better more accurate costume options out there, buy them, even if more pricey, time is money, WHATS YOUR TIME WORTH?

Time is money if someone works on something to sell, or has more work to finish something as should be needed. Cause in that time he could do something different, that is worth more.
Pure waiting time, at best with already a half basement of unfinished projects that can be grabbed and worked on, is just one thing - worthless waiting time. Unpleaseant, due to wanting the stuff, but worthless.
 
Just received my shipping notice for my OT TK completed version; including all under garments. Scheduled to arrive in 2 days. Looking forward to its arrival!
