ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

You should not have to wait two years for anything like this. Now, I did order the TK and got the TK in the estimated time line they posted. The products are good but don't sell them if they are not in hand to ship.

Disney Launch Bay employee told me if I order from them (Disney) I would have an AT-AT driver in 3 months. I just laughed out loud and said good luck with that.
 
Wow. All I hear is bitch and moan bitch and moan. AGAIN for the THIRD time, I AM A LAWYER, if ANYONE needs my help with ANOVOS or EFX then contact me. I will REPRESENT YOU FOR FREE. If you want we will SUE THEM!!! How does that SOUND?!?! Or we can work all of these issues out like ADULTS. If you are NOT getting ANSWERS. PM and I will get them for YOU!!! FREE OF CHARGE! Any takers?!?

I can't speak for everyone but I have not tried to ask for my money back. Additionally getting my money back would not solve anything for me. I would just have my money back and two years worth of grief to show for it. I'm pretty sure I can get a refund if I asked for it.

Now if you want to start a class action suit for pain and suffering so I get my rig and some money to boot, then maybe you got something.

Two years was a long time but it was worth the wait.

Unless Harrison Ford comes to my front door, takes the rig off from around his waist, and hands it to me, it will not be worth the wait. It does not matter how well it is made or the Tier 1 pricing, it doesn't help the neglect I feel as a customer.

Yes, two years was a long time but that does not mean it wasn't worth the wait to me. No one is forcing anyone to buy from Anovos. If you don't want to wait, don't purchase. Problem solved.

To me that seems like a strange way to look at it. It's like you're saying "Sure, I'll give Anovos money and whenever they feel like getting around to shipping it is fine with me"

That doesn't sit well with me either and I own the place. It is not acceptable to wait two years on an item and once these are shipped out can assure you that we have placed processes in place to prevent the original growing pains from occurring ever again. Now, I get it that words are easier said than done, but I hope to sincerely prove to you over the course of the rest of 2016 that we have course corrected and we are on the path of gaining your trust again.
 
I agree about the inconsistent information on the individual product pages, Release page, and Updates page being an issue. The information should be consistent.

If a product is waiting on an approval or testing and it is still waiting on the same approval or testing, what would be a better update than just leaving the same status with a new estimated date?

This actually brings up a really good point that we have struggled with. We tried Facebook as a medium to deliver updates but found that it was fleeting. I tried a little bit here, but even that is fleeting . We think the website is the way to go , but in the end don';t know if anyone is actually reading the update site because we still field a ton of questions regarding updates. So, what is the best way ? Do you all check the site or would you prefer a direct email with current changes or only when a sharp change occurs ? Your input would be supremely appreciated ...perhaps this needs its own thread..

So we have about a week left for Q3. Anyone receive a shipping notice for a Classic Trilogy Stormtrooper ensemble lately? Will this be yet another Anovo-less Halloween?

Hi GotMaul. First, I want to thank you for wading into the firing line. I must say that I do check your update page on your site, frequently. I check that, cause I'm one of the few on the planet who is NOT on FaceBook, & have no desire to be. Because I find FaceBook is actually impersonable. Update emails, again for me, have a more personal, one on one, feel. I read them over & over again. They're not deleted. They're held onto, because they're a sign of hope. It's the same with eFX. It tells me (a) you're still alive as a company, & (b) more importantly, that I'm not forgotten as a customer. Your site is a great source of information, but, the updates target dates aren't believed (by me at least) anymore. & maybe that's a source of the questions, regarding updates, you guys are getting. & because of that, yes, I check it frequently- but not often. & so I find out (as an example) about the OT TIE torso cancellation - or change - or... I don't know what's going on with it - from someone posting here on the RPF. As someone who has (or had... I don't know anymore) this item on order, that would've been a great update to get in an email.
Another issue, for me, is how some items were pushed to the front of the line, over items who've had paying customers waiting for years. Like the FO Stormtrooper items, over say the Han Solo (I don't have on order) holster rig, or the Darth Vader (I do have on order) helmet. & as someone who has a number of orders with you guys, that's disheartening. & it's why I (& many others) say, nothing else will be ordered until ordered items are received. Trust is waning.
I very much appreciate you coming on these forums to answer questions as best you are able. & I know it seems like -right now- it's all flaming arrows, but you're still here, & for me, that counts for something.

The update page has now gone from the ANOVOS website only the the release calendar is available which is as I said before showing items at Q3 that the update page was saying Q4, whats going on now and which is correct?
 
What's the latest info on the Imperial Officer costumes? Just a few weeks ago the chat agent told me they are on schedule and would be delivered soon but now Q3 is nearly over. :(
Also, just for feedback, the chat agent couldn't answer much beyond what was already posted on the website. Not that they necessarily should but I kinda expected them to have the most up to date info and they really seemed to just be reading from the site.

This was the latest from the now vanished update page however the release calendar and order page still state Q3 so no idea

Just got the shipping notice for the Droid Caller - Improvement was when I checked the tracking number it has actually shipped, All previous notices took about a week for the tracking to actually show movement. Glad to see that change hope it continues - Review of the Droid call when it gets here next week!
 
According to the best information from the ANOVOS website (the Release Calendar) right now, the Han Solo Holster Rig will begin shipping or at least shipping notifications in the next week (by the end of this month)

Just FYI---now it seems the only page on your site that had any detailed delivery information is gone (the updates page).

The chat is great for problems, but has no information on delivery dates. I would think it shouldn't be that hard to tell someone when something is going to be delivered when it is already in hand and waiting on the fulfillment center to reach that persons point in line (so to speak).

I'm guessing the reason chat receives so many requests for this kind of information is because your site is vague, and because you all can't be trusted to hit dates anymore (no offense, I'm sure you realize and understand this). Once you all start developing a track record of doing what you say you will do, when you say you will do it, these questions will diminish.

We're winding down on Q3 and I'm really just hoping I'll receive my goodies in the next 10 days, as promised.
