ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

I just stumbled across this picture I took in March of 2016 at the Idiovos display. The day I went, "oh cool!" And I talked with them for a couple hours on and off and they said I might miss the upcoming Halloween...

Has anyone here received the Royal Guard helmet? Someone on Facebook who ordered through a third party retailer received it. There's one in hand on ebay as well.

The guy on ebay sold 9 of them...8 in june...and no pics or videos now on youtube or something?Very strange...and he wants 350$ for shipping to europe...not really serious.

The one I was looking at before had a picture of the box. It sold, but there's one now with a photo of the box from a legitimate retailer, Alter Ego Comics.
Here's their website:

Here's the one I saw on Facebook. You can see the lining in one of the photos. I asked if he can take a picture of the inside to confirm that it's actually Anovos.

I never understood sellers who won't take actual photos of their in hand sale items. I use stock photos sure but I also take many photos of what I am actually selling.

When there were a lot of people on ebay selling the Anovos STD Phaser, I think only 1 of them had pictures of the actual item they were selling even if they said they had it in hand. The rest of them just used stock Anovos pictures. I later found out that the later waves of the phaser had some finishing problems with parts fitting together and the paint so they didn't want to show the actual product you were buying.

Exactly. Unless the seller has thousands of feedback ratings then they can just take a couple of photos for potential sellers.

In the time they‘ve been “working” on their Kylo costume, I purchased an entire costume (including boots), custom-fitted to my measurements.

I have since upgraded the robe, caplet, and belt with more accurate pieces. Both sets of robes were done with the movie-accurate coating that seems to be plaguing them...

So call it 1.5 costumes in less time and for less money than this whole ordeal..

I had such hopes for them... :(

One of the ebay sellers with an Anovos Royal Guard helmet listing has a photo of the box. Item#: 01160040. Dimensions 20.5 x 20.5 x 16.75 inches. The seller has over 4,600 positive feedback. I would think this is a legit listing.

Sounds awesome. Pics?! I would have made one but I went with Anovos because I don't have the time to make one unfortunately.

And coating the costumes - overwhelming proof that these are amateurs neck deep in, "oooh, let's try this let's try that" all day. Look at the Mandalorian helmets coming back with actual fingerprints UNDER the clear coat after workers return from their Flamin' Hot Cheetos break.

Coating the fabric is not rocket science in the least.
