Here's a little good news. My Mandalorian helmet shipped. I'll have it later this week. I'll be sure to share pics when it arrives.
If, and I mean IF, supplying the Mouse with product was their only way to save the company and actually start to catch up on all the late orders, then I think it's an understandable move on their part.
They alluded to cashflow problems last year in one of their "celebration updates" due to pre-order cancellations and failed factory deliveries (though they worded it in a way that caused a bit of offense in the community).
It sucks that "new" customers are getting products before old ones, it really does, but if it's either that or no one gets anything, then it's the lesser of two evils.
Shipping the Solo TFA must've been a big win for them, since it's the first of their (many) new garments that need to get done. Hopefully they will be able to keep up the momentum. I'm guessing that it's the same factory producung the Picard jacket and if so, there's reason to look forward to it. Same with the Star Lord. It's gonna be an interesting spring and summer...
Very curious to see how the Anovos Mandalorian helmet compares with the eFX version.
Thanks Steve for the update.Well... My Han FA jacket arrived today.
It's better in person so I'm pleasantly surprised. I still like the weight of Dannie's more. That said, I think with some time on a hanger to relax it a bit as well as some distressing and weathering and a couple applications of Pecards it will come around.
Cheers

Aren't the troopers in Rise of Resistance cast members or are they animatronic? By "cast member", do you mean the FO TKs running around outside interacting with the park visitors? Are those suits more or less accurate than the Anovos kits?Anovos didn’t make the “cast member “ costumes, they look nothing like the anovos kits.
Anovos did supply the Rise of the Resistance kits and the FOTK and Kylo helmets and complete FOTK you can buy at the park. There’s no doubt they sent our kits to the Rise of the Resistance instead of to customers.
Hopefully now that the parks are being supplied they will finally start shipping to pre-paid customers.

Nice! Small note: I have recently been told in private that the real jackets were apparently pretty heavy leather, despite the look. I doubt it's as thick as the Anovos, but perhaps not too far off. The leather looks very thin in the movie stills, but in photos where it was on display it looks thicker.Well... My Han FA jacket arrived today.

I don't think they're allowed to. Not really in their defense, but big IP holders often stipulate in contracts that you may not communicate anything that risks damaging the brand. I'm kinda surprised they admitted as much as they did- perhaps they got the Mouse to relent a little, knowing that total silence would be even worse. I've dealt with similar things, professionally. It can spill over into how you fund your product! Once, I was discussing licensing a brand for a possible video game and one of the stipulations was that crowdfunding was not allowed, because it could be seen as the IP was "too weak" to get investors or other funding. IP holders can be paranoid about these issues, so if they are indeed paying for old orders with deliveries to the parks and other things, it's not surprising they would not say it openly.FIne, then admit it.

And, in true screw-fans, money-grabbing form, some price-gauging a-hole just put his ANOVOS Solo jacket up for sale on eBay.

$300 more?! Sure, make a LITTLE back, but why try to screw people? Start the auction at $100 more than you paid with shipping and see where it goes. I have NEVER respected people who do this to members of our own community. Lame. I mean there are literally thousands of people out there, not as Lucy or liquid as others, so the fact people put price something so high very few people can afford it in the fan base makes me mad.
