ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

It depends what the purchaser wants. Some want the shoddy finish because that is how certain props were. Others want it to look better. What makes it look better varies from person to person. It could be how it is finished, better materials, or changing physical "flaws".

For me, I prefer a certain amount of clean up. An OT TK shouldn't have paint runs and lumps unless it is intended to replicate some kind of weathering. A rough Sandtrooper or Shoretrooper makes sense, but sloppy construction still doesn't look right to me.

It was a response to Litchtbringer. For some reason he was under the impression that accuracy is all or nothing.

Last I heard from them, a direct e-mail on Aug 20th, said that Solo jackets were ready and awaiting final inspection for shipping to their warehouse

There's a 50% chance that that is Anovos-code for "something went horribly wrong during production so we're secretly waiting for a new manufacturer to start the whole thing over before telling you about it sometime next year".

1. We are waiting on word from our supplier that they are in the container waiting for shipment.
2. They are on the ship and awaiting arrival.
3. They are waiting on final approval and safety testing.
4. They are at our warehouse awaiting delivery.
5. The one guy in the warehouse only works wednesday so he is overwhelmed.
6. Due to a manufacturing error they have been delayed and we are waiting on new bucks for the 5th time, WAIT! WHAT? Please see excuses 1-5? WTF?
7. We now for the 10th time guarantee they will be delivered Fall of 2020, We promise this time unless we make the same excuses again and it that case please refer to excuse #1 above.

Actually, if you stretch their wording... they've got that much time PLUS another 14 days for "processing" or some such. In August they stated that the Solo jackets would ship "after October 1st"... they just didn't specify how long after...

Still got my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.

I think on October 1st if there is no shipments or news every single one of us need to blast LFL and Disney directly about Anovos. Maybe hundreds of emails might get their attention... maybe not, who knows at this point.

This means that, IF ANY of us have had correspondence directly with Disney, Lucasfilm, CBS, etc. (anyone listed above) that we send a copy of this correspondence - ESPECIALLY AS FAR BACK AS WE CAN FIND, and supply it to the firm. Myself, I contacted Chris Holm at LFL and Disney directly in September of 2017 and the firm has a copy of that. Chris Holm eventually referred me to Jessica Santin but the opening volley was late September of 2017.

If any of you have any correspondence with them, please send it in. I suspect that what they are trying to determine now is if Disney (in my case) "knew" about the crap going on at Anovos, making them party to fraud. And yes, they knew. We just have to supply proof of that.

That is how I read it and would LOVE to drag Disney down in this matter. They could have stepped in to stop this crap a long time ago.

The ruling I want is that Disney funds completion of all orders and/ or refunds immediately and then dissolves Anovos. THAT would be awesome.
