ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

Armor too big to carry around. But if it’s actually in stock and shipping, then that’s more then what ANOVOS offers to us.

I think someone in one of the GE threads said its just the standard Anovos helmets that they're selling. The armor is from another source. And the Disney parks have been selling those helmets since before GE opened and Anovos' troubles were as bad as they are now.

Sure looks like the regular tag you see inside all of the Anovos helmets to me, but maybe what was posted in the other thread was wrong. I'm sure not going to get into a debate about it.

its cool i thought it was the back of the armour price plaque thingy but the numbers don't match anyway

I have both the standard and celebration issued fiberglass version with upgraded interior....it’s definitely the latter.

They're a mash-up of sorts: standard helmets with the premium cloth liners (instead of the hard hat rig).

I asked the cast member if the FO Stormtrooper armor was a finished set or a kit and they weren't too clear on the difference. They do measure you on the spot for the armor and say it ships within ten days. It looks like the one on display is lined like the OT Stormtrooper ensemble. (which to this day is the only completed order I've ever had from Anovos)

Lined like the OT armor? I was on the initial release of that kit, and nothing was lined - helmet has a (really bad) hardhat rig, armor isn't lined. Wuh?

The Armor is the Anovos Premier line so.... just like their website for Premier FOTK and thus the $6,000 price tag.

The Helmets are a hybrid of the Standard line Injection molded plastic but with the Premier fabric lining.

So its not the standard line armor or helmets we are all waiting for.
But......... it might be our armor kits they are using to build these "Premier" kits.

So does anyone else find it funny that the all time most favorite item of the Anovos guys, which they are personally most excited about, is the Royal guard helmet...which is the only thing moved up by 2 quarters on their release schedule?
I don’t know these guys or their history here, but I get the feeling their whole “business model” is to just self servingly get access to the prop archive and have others finance their hobby to get what they want.

They lied and obfuscated for years, and now when they are under threat of litigation and had customers contact the owner of the licence about them, they suddenly start being open and honest.... Yeah i'm not going to suddenly forgive them for lying to me for years.

When someone is forced to be truthful after so long, then their trustworthiness isn't worth the pixels this update is typed on.

Indeed, expecting them to change seems about as likely as "fixing" a manipulative partner in an abusive relationship.
