You... you're mad. You're a mad genius and I can't stop reading this thread. It's brilliant and beautiful.
You're setting a high bar for someone starting out in modelmaking. Thanks for the inspiration.

hello katsu-san, I just finished going through your build threads and I just signed up and as my first post i want to say, you sir are a genius. Watching you build something is awesome and seeing everything come together is like watching poetry in motion. I do hope you will teach me something and continue to amaze us as you have done so far. I thank you.
Thank you Katsu-san. I hope you don't mind, I will send you a request, I hope you will accept. I have already learnt much, I was mostly lurking for many months before I saw your builds. As for my builds, I have built some things but it is nowhere close to the awesomeness that pervades this forum, I am embarrassed to put it up...
Strode-san
I am happy to accept any of your request anytime.
And I know the great guys here who is well knowing about materials, vacuum forming and any other practical technique. No problem at all.
I quit kit building more than 20 years ago. After the long interval, in 2007, I happened to be interested in scratch building and kit bashing.
So, I had only made four models including this one so far.
You don't have to worry about put up what you built.
You will have many friendly comment and sincere advice.
So, pick one you built and go ahead put it up.
We only share the pure joy of building here and I know you do too.
All the best!
Katsu
I love this technique, thank you for showing some many stages and techniques, relly looking forward t seeing more! Keep going!
Absolutely breathtakingly stunning. Amazing work. I look forward to more!
"WOW!!!" doesn't even begin to describe it.
Katsu-san. You have so many great techniques that you are using on this build. Do you make some of them up as you are building or are these techniques something you already know? So much can be learned from this ship. As always, each addition you make is amazing!
This ship just gets better with every new pic, the park and beach are amazing.
Katsu-san,
I love checking this thread, each update just makes me shake my head in disbelief at the details you are including. The glass celing, such a simple technique, but such an elegant result.
Katsu-San! As always, beautiful! I wish I could shrink down really small and live on that ship! :lol
I agree with NakedMoleRat: I'd live there, too!! :cool
I'm sure I echo the thoughts of everyone here when I say I need to buy a thesaurus to look up more adjectives to use here, other than just using 'amazing' 'incredible' and the like. I'm out of words of description!!
So amazed to see how this has progressed! I wanna take a swim too!
