Another P1 Stunt Bio

As always, fantastic work. Only comments or critiques.. The blast marks are very precise.. And laid over a very organic washed rust.. I feel it either has one too many stenciled blasts .. Or needs a little more black wash for the soot and dirty factor. Also.. Forgot to tell ya that you wanna get those earth magnets installed before the felt.. That way you can bond them to the resin to insure they stay on that bio.
The paint is awesome.. You know how much of a fan of rust I am!!!

Thanks, brother!

Yeah, I was having second thoughts on the blast marks. I have come to the decision that this is P1 many years after the first movie, basically as a way to justify all the rust. That is why I added additional blast marks, to symbolize later battles. However, once I added the additional blast mark above the left eye and the one on the left fin, yeah, it feels a tad overbearing. I will more than likely eliminate the one over the brow and add more black wash around the bio. Do you think I should focus on the areas around the blast marks, or wash in other areas?

Also.. Forgot to tell ya that you wanna get those earth magnets installed before the felt.. That way you can bond them to the resin to insure they stay on that bio.

****-balls; I had actually told myself to NOT forget about the magnets. I had every intention of doing it that way. No biggee. Once I get an undermask, I'll full the felt back and place them accordingly. The beauty of rubber cement, lol...

Again, thank you! Most appreciated.

And Branden, thanks to you, as well!

oh snap i didn't think about the magnets thing either,.....

oh shiznit is darth gonna be pissed when he's sees that post ,...ha haha

darth ----the whole bio is looking bad-ass btw ,....alot of dtail inside and out,....
makes me wanna go do more to mine but,.....
wait til this flu's gone ..........

ha ..no worries bro ..i figured the felt could be cut and removed for the magnets ..as for the soot and black wash ..whatever feels right ..water down some black ..i mean really water it down ..then lightly sponge some in ..then wipe it off with a paper towel ..it will only leave the lightest hint of black around the edges of the silver mottling

what'd you end up using for the lens ?????

only other thing i could think of was either a motocross goggle lens,.......or tinted helmet visor,....
i need to just get one off of here but,......

looks good mang,......i do like the paint better now too ,.....
( mine looks like **** now thanks ) ha ha ha

Tinted football helmet visor. Nephew didn't use it, so it was FREE! Most any lense should work. Just make sure it's big enough; it's a wide opening...

Just keep adding paint, brother. Thanks!

damn wish i had a nephew,......lens and lasers are what's holdin me back right now,.....
oh and shroud but,......might improvise on that one,.....

did ya hot glue or resin the lens in ???

I used putty to build up ledges around the eye opening (See photos) and will be using velcro to hold in my lense, so that I can flip them out. I HATE hot glue...

Hmmm....well, I dunno. The right eye seems to have a 5-6 millimeter gap between the lens and the Bio. Its really ******* annoying and obvious actually. And here I thot you were a perfectionist...pppffftttt!!!!

And now I shall offset the insult with a happy smiley face and show my sarcasm! :)
