It's made to fit Rudy's clamp chamber specifically, so.... If you can put that on the Russrep parts... "maybe?"

Has anyone had any luck taking apart an otherwise "stuck" FX pommel? The pommel is made up of 4 parts - once you pop out the top, there are two parts that screw together to hold the knurled section. Mine are locked up tight and I'd love to be able to take them apart without leaving any tool marks.

Have yet to try heat/cooling or wrapping in fabric tape and using tools - just seeing if anyone else has run into this.

I probably should have tried one of my ideas before posting. It took about 2 seconds with only a light touch from a set of channel-lock pliers. Wrapped the bottom edge with some hockey tape and set the top edge in a vise also lined with hockey tape. Light clamping force and just a tiny bit of pressure on the pliers was all it took to rotate the 1/8" needed to free it up.

Now I can clean it, get rid of some machining burrs and then polish it right up.

Anytime @slothfurnace, your lightsaber builds are amazing. I think there's something to having a black leather couch, you and Watchmaker Lam both have one, and at least one other builder has one too. Maybe if I get one my skills we be complete?

Any ideas on how to use a CFv8-LS with a LED String Blade and wire it in such a manner as to have a swapable Tri-Cree option too? I'd like to have my saber and a crazy bright flashlight too!

He states that his mentor made it for him. It's a set of flat nosed pliers with a 5mm hole drilled through it and the sides filed at the proper width to bend the arms back down towards the next LED. He has another rig for bending the buddy arms. I've been working on a drawing that will incorporate his pliers and a different filing that will allow the bending of the buddy arms on the pliers jig too!

My apologies to Spirit of obi1 for temporarily hijacking your thread. I would have PM'd all this to the guys, but I'm sure others would like to know too.
